      I received a call from this company telling me that they process the bill payments our customers send through their online banking bill pay systems and that they could get the money to us quicker than a check. They knew our company name, our tax id and about how many bill payments we receive a month. I asked several times if there was a fee for this service and was told no. Turns out, you have to process the payment as a credit card and that comes with whatever fees your credit card processor charges you. I feel BillGo intentionally glosses over the fees so that they can get you to sign up through them. I was able to promptly cancel the service but who knows how long our existing payments are going to get tied up.

Using our electronic directory service, BillGO Exchange, businesses are able to receive payments electronically by way of virtual cards or ACH payments, as opposed to a paper check. There is no cost to join BillGO Exchange and businesses must choose to opt-in to our service, which our team confirms over the phone when possible or by sending a business a secure link to provide consent, create a business profile and confidentially retrieve digital payments. We provide our business customers with a secure login so that they may view all relevant payment transaction information once payments are received.       Billgo called our company. The call was directed to me because I am the office manager. Fast-talking guy quickly ran down that he was from Billgo and wanted to know if we took card payments. Said some of our customers were trying to pay us. When I asked for customer names, he could not provide that information. He ran through a bunch of other gibberish, which sounded fishy to me. Asked if I was familiar with virtual credit cards, to which I replied I was not. That pretty much ended the call. Looked them up on the internet, saw the other bad reviews on Better Business Bureau, thought I would add mine. Sounded extremely scammy to me.

      I was also contacted by Billgo saying that they had payments waiting to be transmitted to me, but once I completed the sign up process there were no payments. If they're not actually a scam (and I'm not convinced they're not), then they use scammy techniques to get people signed up with them.

      This company is a scam. They will call you with seemingly legit customer information. Once you log on to their "portal", they install a bug on your computer and they will retrieve any information you have. DO NOT FALL FOR IT. They will reply to this review with an apology for my not understanding, and I assure you, I DO understand their intentions and so should you.

The BillGO Exchange is an electronic directory that allows businesses to receive payments electronically as opposed to a paper check. Businesses must choose to opt-in to our electronic directory with no joining fee, which ***************************** of ******** ***** Services did on April 3, 2024. Our team confirmed the account over the phone by sending her a secure link to provide consent, create a business profile, and confidentially and securely retrieve digital payments. On April 8, 2024, the first ****************************** payment was channeled through the BillGO Exchange, and the first payment notification email was sent to the provided email address on the morning of April 9, 2024. On April 12, our Support Representative called ****************************** to alert them to receiving their first payment from a customer using their ******************* pay. We were not able to connect via phone, so the representative sent an email explaining the first payment and the process. On April 12, 2024, BillGO received notice of a negative Better Business Bureau Review from ******************************. On April 15, the BillGO support team called ****************************** and spoke with ******, who requested that no further contact be initiated before disconnecting the call. BillGO has closed the account that ***************************** created for ****************************** and cancelled the expedited payment services. No further payments will be sent to the business. BillGO takes great pride in providing faster and more secure payments processing to thousands of small- and medium-sized businesses across the country and we take our obligations to maintain the privacy and security of the information entrusted to us very seriously. We are sorry for any confusion ****************************** experienced and are disappointed that they are no longer a customer.

      This company aggressively called me until I spoke to them. They were trying to scam me into giving them my information so our clients who paid us through bill pay would be redirected and the payments would be sent through Billgo. Do not accept their calls and do not follow their directions. This is a scam!

      Scammed me In to signing up for their service by saying one of my customers was trying to make a payment to my company. That was not true. They didn't know anything about it. They intercept legitimate payments coming to you and only give you a few days to process their payment and because they turned your check into a credit card transaction, you pay a fee! Unethical Scam scam scam!!!

      PLEASE BEWARE TO AVOID DAMAGES TO YOUR BUSINESS! "Tracy" has been calling me to "walk me through setting up an account" with them as our "customer is trying to make a payment." She's called several times and refuses to release the name of our customer that's trying to make the payment or send an email with the link to setting up an account with them. After returning her message, reached her coworker and he too refused to provide our customer's name and hung up on me. They come off quite legit for the most part but if you've worked with 3rd party payers quite a bit, you'll know that they will always release your customer's information to you and will always send you a link should you request it.
