      I brought my car in to the Buick/GM side of Markley Motors for a check engine light and waited in the waiting room along with 2 other people for three hours. They pulled me back after inspection to tell me that I needed a new water pump and turbo coolant lines because everything was leaking. I was quoted a little over $2,700 for it. They said they did not have pictures because the mechanic had left for the day and they didn't catch them on the way out the door. I brought it in to a local shop that did a much more detailed inspection and was informed that indeed not a single thing was leaking that Markley Motors had said was leaking. I did not need a new water pump, I did not need new turbo coolant lines. I in fact simply had a vaccum seal on a purge valve in my emissions system that costed a total of $189 to fix. Got the car back from the other shop and it was driving perfectly, not idling weird anymore, no check engine light for the past few weeks. I'm confident in saying that the small auto shop fixed the problem I was having, the car is driving completely differently and exactly how I remembered it felt when I first got the car. That's how I know the Markley quote was complete c*** I'm not sure if Markley was hoping that at such a high cost I might just decide to turn my vehicle in and buy a whole new one from them or if they were going to knowingly fix a non-existent problem. Who knows. Bottom line, I would not recommend Markely Motors to anyone. If I tried to pull this stunt on a single person I would never sleep again, but they were quite willing to slap a $2,700 bill on a random person (in the height of the expensive holiday season). Obviously I can't 100% say this was because I was a young woman coming in alone, but I would caution other women against trusting them to tell the truth and not try to take advantage of a situation. I'm not usually one to leave a bad review but this business earned it.

      My *** 3500 truck was towed to the dealership after I accidently put Def in the wrong tank. It needed a complete new fuel system including tank. With a price of $20,000 plus I initially told them to go ahead . They said they wouId have to order three parts. I found someone to do it for ***** less so called the next day and told them I did not want them to do the job. They said I would have to pay for a restock fee of 15%, even though the parts had never left the warehouse. I would also have to pay for the diagnostic they performed. I agreed that was fair. When I was told I owed over ***** I told them I thought that was high. The response was the 15% for restock fees.I paid and asked for a detailed invoice, They said they put one in the truck which I had had towed to the other auto repair but they sent one. When I looked at the invoice and saw a restock fee of $1,781.76 I started calling for an explanation. They would not answer the phone or return my calls even though I explained on the voice mail that I only wanted an explanation of why the restock fee was so high. I called the *** parts department and found that the cost of the entire fuel system replacement for parts was a little less than $10,000. My math is ***** but I do not know how $1,781.76 is 15% of less than $10,000. around $10,000 is the amount for the entire system so I know the 3 parts they ordered and I was supposed to pay a restocking fee for was definitely not the amount I was charged. If you are dealing with Markley service do not expect an honest charge for services. And definitely do not expect them to have the decency to return your calls and explain things.

Your calls were made after both team members had left for the day and we attempted to call you the following business day.

      We would like to clarify a few points in hopes of addressing your concerns. The parts ordered for your truck amounted to $11,878, and as part of our policy, the 15% restocking fee was calculated based on that total. This comes to $1,781.76, which matches the amount charged. It seems there was some confusion about the overall cost of the parts, as they were more than the $10,000 you initially estimated. We assure you that our math and charges were applied correctly based on the actual price of the parts ordered.
      In addition to the restocking fee, the diagnostic fee was also discussed and agreed upon, and we believe that was included as part of the overall total. We're truly sorry if this wasnt communicated clearly upfront, and we can understand why this would be frustrating.
      We have tried to reach out on several occasions via phone, but have only been able to connect with your voicemail. Wed be happy to further clarify and discuss any remaining concerns with you directly.       We brought my 2021 CRV in for a 1 1/2 hour hitch installation and had a scheduled appointment. 3 hours later we are still here and they say they are only half done with it. They knew we were waiting and even called me at 12:30 stating the would be late and done at 1:30. We are so upset. We would have made arrangements to leave it and come back would we have known this would take so long. We DO NOT recommend Markley ***** for service and will never return here again. I am afraid to see their job now... will provide an update on quality of job.UPDATE: Just got home after 4 hours of waiting to have this 1 1/2 hour job done. I am so disappointed! Although I think the hitch was done correctly, I now have damage to my UNDAMAGED bumper! You would think that the Dealership would take care of their own brand! I just can't win with this! I wish I never took my car here! I entered with under **** miles and NO damage to under **** with a damaged bumper! They should not have service available at this ***** location! I AM PUTTING OUT A WARNING - Do not bring your vehicle here if you care about it at all! Think they will install a brand new bumper on my CRV - VERY DOUBTFUL! I'm just sick to my stomach.

      We did work on her vehicle and fully admit to the time taking much longer than the time estimate given. The job ended up being a more cumbersome process than anticipated. I called the customer and expressed my sincere apologies for the time as well as the scuffs on her bumper that we may have caused. I offered for us to repair the bumper and she stated that she didn't really want us to touch her vehicle again. I asked if she could send me a picture of the damage to see what I could do for her. She said that because her husband just put tire shine on the vehicle and somewhat cleaned up the damage to give her a week before she sent the picture. We left it at that and she seemed ok. She thanked me for reaching out and said she'd send the picture within a week.

      Markley Motors, Ft Collins charged my daughter for replacing brake fluid. Less than a month later we took it to our local dealer Planet Honda in Golden. They checked the brake fluid unaware we already paid for this service in Ft Collins. Planet Honda sent us a video showing us the brake fluid needed to be changed. The video showed a green slim algae like substance floating on top with dirty brake fluid. I attempted to contact the Manager for Markley Motors and left 3 messages over a span of 1.5 months. Each message I left was polite asking him to contact us at his earliest convenience regarding our vehicle. I have had no response whatsoever. They cheated us and I am not sure if the performed any service they charged us for or that was really needed. The lack of response and some of the other reviews make me believe this isn't just a one- off accidental oversight. Shame on you MARKLEY MOTORS - FT COLLINS!

      Horrible service! Bought a used car and had an We Owe for a second key and fob. First attempt they said they needed the car for 5 hours. 2nd attempt I schedule an appointment and they verified they had the part which then they did not when I arrived. That was after making us wait for the service advisor that was on the phone for a bit when the available advisor saw I had a We Owe and he turned around to talk to a coworker instead of helping us. Called me with the part less than 24 hours later and said they would need 2 hours. Programming a fob does not take that long, but what does take that long is inspecting my car which I did not ask for instead of just programming the key and then telling me I need $2000 in repairs. They are the worst and I will never service nor buy a car from this place again. I would give them negative stars if I could.
