I sent this business my device that Im supposed to receive $430 for. The business promised to send the payment within 24 hours from receipt of the device. However, the device has been received by them last Friday, Oct. 4th. It is now Tue., Oct. 8th. I have also tried to reach out to this business via email yesterday and today, they are no longer responding to my emails unlike before. I tried to call them earlier as well, they send it straight to voicemail. I dont know how else to reach this business who seem to avoid contacts after receiving my device.

I sent my blacklisted phone to cell beach on 12/09/2022 it listed that it was worth 580. I sent messages to them in beginning of January asking about the status. The phone is in perfect condition so I know there is no change in the price. I never received a response from them. I tracked the package and it said it was delivered to Fort Collins, also I tracked it using FIND MY PHONE and it also said it was there. I want either my money or my device back.

We have paid the buyer $310 as agreed upon. His phone was blacklisted. I have attached the below email, the imei phone report and proof of our having sent him a $310 ***** payment. I have also attached his original checkout info on our website that shows the $310 price

Below is copy of email I sent the buyer responding to his complaint explaining the delay in payment (I have included this email in attachments):

      Hi *******,
I saw your BBB complaint and would first like to say I'm sorry for the problem. I'm the owner and have been looking into this. It seems that we mislabeled a phone with your name (but was actually not your phone) and returned it to someone else but had it listed in our log as returned to you. Long story short I believe we located your ** *** *** phone in our "orphan" box, phones without matching owners. Is your phone blue?
If yes, please see attached image of results of your imei search - it has been blacklisted by AT&T. We can send your ***** payment for $310 now.
      Thanks, Cory

Apparently I should have read BBB first then I’d see others have been scammed the same as me in an attempt to defraud. I agreed to sell my phone, I even recorded the condition and myself placing it in its box inside another packaging to mail. No damage, I even removed the screen protector and factory reset it. Now, I get an email who claims he’s the 67 yr old owner being very condescending and rude telling me My phone has all this damage and now he isn’t going to pay me what was agreed upon. I asked for my phone to be sent back, and my father who happens to be my attorney will be following up with this case. Apparently, cellbeach damages peoples phones once they get them, in an attempt to defraud and not pay you what their offer was starting out. Owner claims he is mailing my phone out and gave tracking number. I will update if I get the phone back. This many complaints against this company, he needs to be shut down. That’s what my attorney and I will be asking by the courts to do. Take away his business license (if he in fact even have one). I also notice one customers complaint the owner of cell each claims that person was rude and abusive in emails…yet the owner was the one rude and condiscending in my emails with him, which are saved for evidence along with my video proving conditions of my phone. So either **** opened it up, damaged it, then taped it back up and sent it on its way. OR, said owner of cellbeach, is defrauding and scamming people.

I am the owner of Cellbeach. We didn't damage her phone. She claimed her phone was in mint condition, which is by our definition like new, perfect. It was not, it had several short deep scratches. When I informed her of this by email she told me her phone was perfect and we must have damaged it. This is a lie, plain and simple. In mint condition her phone's value was $60. $60 is what she was quoted on checkout on our website (pending inspection). In fair condition (deep scratches) the value was $30. So we would purposely damage her phone for $30? That would be idiotic. We have been in business for 13 years and in that time have paid approximately 30,000 individuals or businesses for their phones. We have never scammed or damaged a phone. We treat people fairly. You can't make everyone happy.
