      Update 5.11.23: We're getting some heavy rains in Elbert County today and our roof is leaking the whole length of the house. One leak is from open holes in the wood layer of the roof that weren't sealed or covered properly and another is where there is no sealant around the vents and the tiles aren't even touching the vent. So...1 year and 2 months into this house we're going to have to replace the roof. However, after our house was put on the foundation and we could finally see the entire inside, there was paint all over the floor, cabinet drawers weren't installed properly, there is a hole in the shower overlay, holes in the wall where the toilet paper holder "should" be, the kitchen island was crooked and uneven and when "fixed," it wasn't even screwed down to the supports and it bounced, the door frames leaked, and we needed to fix the roof within 2 months. The people hired to fix these issues half-assed everything and Alpine refused to take any responsibility. The people who came to paint the exterior dumped paint on the ground in a large pool, we had to hire our own roofing company to patch the roof, but they said it was done incorrectly in other areas so it needs to be redone, and we still haven't received items to fix the damaged items. Now it's been a little over a year since the house was set on the foundation, the time Alpine has to fix manufacturing issues, and they haven't responded about the roof, the cracks in the drywall, or the items that were on order. We moved in February 2022 and there's still paint on the floors and our roof still leaks. And when we contacted them about these issues and wanted them fixed? Basically we were told, "tough shit," and we will need to fix these issues ourselves, not our problem. We even contacted a lawyer and were told it would cost more in legal fees than the repairs so, there's really no recourse. The only reason they got 1 star is because of *** and I had to put something. Buyer beware after delivery.
