I went to nail salon to get a pedicure chose a $60 pedicure with gel polish which brought my ticket up to $85as I was getting my service done I was looking at the website of LV nail salon and I saw that you can get Dip nails with a tip (nail extension) for $12 asked about the service to confirm it’s something that I wanted then I requested to have service done.. I told the lady that I’ve never had these done before and as her next appointment was sitting next to me we were discussing how the dip nails were only $12 or so I thought because that’s what’s posted online. The nail tech then said no with tips they’re $60 which is a significant amount more than $12. At this point I am complete with my service and I need to be to work in 15 minutes. The lady told me that they would take care of me up at the front because I showed them online where it states that dip nails with tips it’s only $12. When I went out front they still had the full price that I was supposed to pay. I told the gentleman at the front that I don’t think I need to pay the full price given as it says online that it’s only $12 service. He got his manager who came up and denied discounting the service to what was posted online saying that I was taking advantage of them. My only choices were to have the nails removed and be late for work or pay with 20% off which I don’t even find reasonable because I wouldn’t have gotten the service at the time if I had known the price.
