  This plumbing company charged us 300 dollars to replace 4 pipes under the kitchen sink. We have a clogged pipe and I asked him if it was unclogged and repaired and the technician said it was good to go. Then he tried to sell me a water heater and I asked him why and he said that it might be the reason for the clogged pipe. I told him why would that have anything to do with the kitchen sink and he said he was just asking and wanted to sell us a new one. I said ours was only 4 years old. Then he asked me what type of payment was I going to use. I told him with a **** and he got his payment. Of course he had me sign. Then he said that they might have to put a snake down the pipe and I asked him why and he said that it's going to need it . I couldn't believe it , I told him why did he say that it was fine if it needed a snake to put through the pipe at least 30 feet I asked him how much more to do that and he said 400 dollars more. I said that it was alot and that I couldn't pay that much .more and he just said ok and they left All I get is a disability check so I can't believe that they have to take advantage of an elderly woman. This company is a scam

  Fantastic service! No heating or hot water due to a boiler breakdown. Over the Christmas holiday, I called this company early in the morning, and the engineer visited later that same day. Following his diagnosis, a new pump was installed. Fantastic work. Strongly advise using JT Plumbing, Heating, and Air!

  An amazing HIGHLY RECOMMENDED firm who resolved our water heating issue after two years that others couldn't.******************** recommended these to me, and I'm pleased she did.We are overjoyed to finally have guaranteed hot water.The only issue we had was that I locked the engineer in the garage. It is a good thing he had his phone. OOHH, we are still laughing.

  STAY AWAY from this company. I am elderly and I called them to fix a leak just above the water meter. The technician that arrived estimated the job at $4400 and told me if I did not act immediately I would have a basement full of water. I can connect go downstairs and they did not provide any pictures or estimate but got pushy and angry when I asked questions. He scared me and I had to write them a check for $2175 to get them to leave, as they said they needed to go to the office and would be back. I called my nephew in tears to help me because I was scared about them coming back. My nephew came over and and talked to the technician and his helper when they came back and reviewed the estimate. He told them both to leave and we would not need their services. It was unreal what they were going to do and charge. We got the repairs done for $400 from another company who actually acted like professionals and not crooks. Just today, they sent me another email and an invoice for $4350. They did no work and when I called them to complain about the event the day it happened, they would not talk to me or me back. The lady in the office was rude and would not allow contact with the owner and she demanded I pay. I am scared of these people and want them to be punished.

  This business charges $180 just to come and look at your task, which is not uncommon (and is waived if they do the work), but then they charged me $665 for 30 minutes work attaching a fitting worth a few dollars. This is unacceptable gouging. I urge the selection of a different plumber.

  I agree with others here who say they were outrageously charged. We had this exact experience for charging more than double for labor only and our device was a small light weight device, a Reme Halo. Apparently this is how this company does business. They know they charge double or more and will keep grossly over charging as long as they continue to get away with it!Everyone whos been ripped off continue to post here and in all media sites. They also left the Furnace switch off all night therefore we had no AC. Left the rookie in charge and the experienced tech left one hour after getting $975.00 in advance!!! Fully vett and get 3-4 bids until your find an honest contractor who charge local market prices. Stay away from JT, you pay double for their ugly painted trucks and their iPads!

  GROSSLY OVERPRICED, POOR SERVICE, ARROGANT, PATRONIZING-- We contacted JT Plumbing to install an air purifier, having already purchased the unit itself. Having worked with them 18 months ago, we did not go through the typical process of getting other bids. BAD mistake! Two techs showed up at the appointed time. The lead tech took a few minutes to assess the situation, then quoted $1,950 just to install the unit, a lightweight device requiring 3 labor hours. Being newly moved in, I reluctantly signed the agreement. He then proceeded to upsell me on two other programs/devices. Soon after I said no to these, he claimed there was a flooding emergency elsewhere and left the more junior tech behind to do the install. After a partial install, the junior tech left a switch off and we then had NO AIR CONDITIONING and there was no off-hours number to call to get them to come back and fix the problem. The next morning, the lead tech showed up with TWO other techs "for training purposes". That is THREE of their fancy trucks for a simple installation. Unhappy, we contacted the owner to complain about the price and the overnight issue. He was belligerent, claimed not to care about competitors' pricing, and boasted their services as so premium as to command premium pricing. He finally begrudgingly agreed to cut the price to what we had researched as more competitive locally. The techs then left without saying anything. When found back at the trucks, the lead tech said they were finished and simply said "Don't look at the blue light" and they all left. No final review of the work or other instructions. We later received an e-mail invoice for the full original amount, with a note at the bottom saying "got kicked out". The owner wrote to say that since we posted on social media, they would not honor their promise on the price decrease. We sent a final request for him to honor his verbal contract. The reply was patronizing, condescending and disingenuous.

  Shady business practices that are part of how they are trained by their owner. On Dec 16, 2022 I called JT Plumbing & Restoration and explained that I had a whole house drain line blockage. I shared that I ran a 3 foot auger into the toilet and that did not clear the blockage and that the sink and washing machine were causing the toilet to fill when they were running. When the service technician arrived, I took him to the cleanouts at the septic tank to show where he could run the snake. He proceeded to tell me he would put together some options for me and took out an iPad and after 5 minutes showed me an estimate for $1,279….to snake a blockage! I knew that seemed grossly overpriced and fortunately, my general contractor was at my house working on a basement remodel and I ran it by him just to make sure I wasn't missing anything that would cause it to be that grossly high of a cost. He said that was absurd & made a call to another company who said it would be about $170. I told the technician the $1,279 was absurd and he said he'd check with his boss and then he came back with a number in the $500 range and said he dropped the camera scope and provided a 15% discount. At this point, the smell of dishonesty was so strong I told him to leave and I was going with a different company. I then called Drain Doctor who came out and in a total of 15 minutes from arrival and $110.00 the blockage was cleared and the worker was gone. From my experience of being a realtor for 15 years is when a technician arrives with an iPad especially for a small job, they are going to upsell or full on scam you out of money. I would fully recommend staying away from this dishonest company.
