    I bought an Aqua Hot *** 1 gas heater for my camper from ****************** ( ************** on June 20th and received a email the next day it was shipping that day. I installed the heater around September and used it for 3 weeks on a hunting trip in Oct. It works great. Around Nov 1st, it stopped working while sitting in my driveway. I called Aqua Hot during the first week of Nov and was told I have to use one of their service providers for Warranty repairs. Called ****** ******* RV in *********** and the soonest I could schedule a repair was Dec 4 2024. ******* ** said I have a bad ************* and they would order one. Next apt was Dec 11. The wrong part was sent. Next apt Dec 18. Unworkable part was sent. Reordered and was to be sent on Dec 30 and rescheduled on Jan 6, 2025. Another unworkable part sent. I asked for a new heater since Aqua Hot claims ********************* They agreed to send a new heater. I was told it would take 10 days to receive. Today, 16 days later, I still dont know when it will arrive and I cant reschedule with ******* ** till they know it has shipped and have a tracking number. It has been two and a half months since I first notified Aqua Hot about the problem. I had plans to leave for the winter on Dec 1st to join my family on the Pan American Hwy to *************. As of today, they are in southern ******. No way I can catch up. I have sent over 21 emails to Aqua Hot. At least that many calls to them. 7 emails to ****** *******, plus probably 20 calls. A few calls to ******* who did make a call on my behalf even though its not their problem. Aqua Hot has not responded to me since Jan 10 telling me they would find out what is going on and would call later that day. That was from *** ****** in the AH service ***** ************. Number fails every time I try to call. My case number is Case 65010-P4X4V5. I dont know if I need to start a law suit or not. The heater cost about $2400.00 plus the parts I had to buy to install it. HELP!

    Thank you so much for your work on this issue. I did receive a response from ******** and was told that a new unit was shipped today. I am not ready to close out. I have responded to Aqua Hot asking for the tracking number so I can then reschedule an appointment with their service provider here in ***** *****. Once that is determined and the unit installed and texted, I will let you know if all is good. At this point, I have no idea how long it will be.

    Hello, 

    I am happy to to report that ******** sent a replacement heater to their authorized service provider, ******************************, *****. ****** ******* removed that bad unit and replaced it with a new one. It has been a week and so far, it appears to be working correctly. 
    I thank you so much for stepping in and helping me with this problem. As of today, it has been 3  months to get the problem resolved. Im very grateful for the BBBs help in getting this taken care of. I trust Aqua Hot can do better in the future with customer service.

    We purchased a tiffin rv dec 2021 and had warranty work that same month on the aqua hot unit. We have continued to have leaking issues and need to add a gallon of anti freeze one gallon a month. Contacted aqua hot and the opened a service call. Followed their instructions and sent photos. They said they had problems with that unit and redesigned it. They won’t warranty the unit even though we would install the replacement. Their warranty is only good 2 months from the date tiffin puts it in when they build the rv

    Thank you for the opportunity to respond regarding the AHE-250-D01 unit.


    As a valued and respected supplier to the RV industry for 40 years, we stand firmly behind the quality and durability of our products. The warranty for this unit is valid for two years from the purchase date of the coach, which was December 2021. Consequently, the warranty expired in December 2023. We received a call and created a case regarding this issue on May 29, 2024, six months after the warranty had expired.

    Upon reviewing the pictures sent by the Fosters , we confirmed the presence of a leak. Specifically, in picture 0511, it is evident that the weld is broken underneath the coach. This breakage most likely resulted from an external impact to the exhaust pipe, causing the weld to break. Such physical damage would not be covered under warranty as a manufactured defect, as it appears to have been caused by an incident such as bottoming out the RV.

    It is important to note that the exhaust installation is performed by the RV manufacturer, not Aqua Hot. Therefore, any damage resulting from external factors would not fall under our warranty coverage for manufactured defects.

    To resolve this matter, we recommend that Mr. Foster takes the coach to an Authorized Service Center. We are willing to work with the Service Center and offer a replacement unit at a significant discount.
