      I have a hot water issue in my unit for over 3 years now. It can take anywhere from ten seconds to five minutes to get the water warm/hot in any faucet in my unit. I have owned my unit in this complex for close to eighteen years. I have had many plumbers out at my expense to resolve the issue, because the management company states the issue is in my unit and not the boiler which would be the management company's responsibility. Every plumber that I have had out including a couple of the management plumbers have stated it's in the boiler. The management company states that there have been similar situations in other buildings in the complex and once a shower valve has been replaced it has fixed the issue. That has been recently replaced in my unit and I still have the issue. In an HOA meeting the management company stated their boiler person suggested putting a booster on the boiler to solve the issue. The management company still wants to have other units in my building replace these shower valves. THIS IS A SANITARY AND HEALTH ISSUE WHEN IT COMES TO WASHING HANDS. I have waited long enough to get this issue fixed. I have copies of many e-mails sent to the management company and attended numerous board meetings with no resolution to this issue. This complaint is the first step of many more steps I will be taking in the next few days to get it fixed. Have I been abusive/nasty to the management company, certainly, but the main reason why that is when you go to talk with the owner of the company, he literally walks away from you. In other cases, he has directed me to talk to the board members and not him as he states he is done with me. This needs to be fixed like yesterday.
