      We contacted ComfortAir for a quote. Their representative, Marty, did not show up on time, so we called him. He stated he had forgotten about the appointment. When he did finally come, he stated he would send us a quote within a few days. We did not receive a quote for over a month. Now, several months later, we have received an invoice for a full A/C installation. We never contracted with them, and they never started any work. We still have not put in any A/C in our house, so they are clearly incorrect about this situation.

      Dear Better Business Bureau, I'm writing to formally complain about Comfort Air, a HVAC company we trusted for years. Over time, our AC unit had recurring problems. Comfort Air's solution was merely to refill the refrigerant, a temporary fix. Despite repeated service calls, they failed to find and fix an apparent refrigerant leak. Recently, our AC's compressor failed. We believe Comfort Air's negligent maintenance contributed to this failure. When addressed, they refused to acknowledge any responsibility. Adding to our dismay, they denied us access to our own service records when requested. We intended to use these for a second opinion on our AC unit. Instead of rectifying the situation when we raised our concerns, Comfort Air decided they no longer wished to conduct business with us, citing we had caused them 'grief'. We find this reaction unprofessional and unjust. Regrettably, we find Comfort Air's service lacking, and their conduct unprofessional. Our experience has left us with a malfunctioning AC unit and no support. We urge you to consider our complaint and take appropriate action. Future customers should be aware of Comfort Air's service inadequacies and unprofessional conduct. Thank you, ****** *****
