I had Atlasta Solar Center put in 20 solar panels approximately 3 years ago, which cost me $25,000. As it turned out, it wasn't nearly enough power so I had them put in another 12 panels a year later which was another $15,000. No one ever told that panels are 50% worthless without batteries (storage), as I use most of my energy in the evenings and overnight when there is no sun ******, this year I put in batteries. Yes, you guessed it, another $25,000. For batteries??? It took them four months to install them. They finally got them installed right before Christmas. They gave me an app that is supposed to show my all my production, usage and overproduction. Well, the app has never worked correctly and I have NO idea how to measure anything for all my expense. I have been going back and forth with both ASC and *********** ever since. The workaround options I've been given are: a new meter for $1000, upgrade my service from a 200 *********** to a 400 *********** for approximately $8000, upgrade my inverters (on every panel) at $200 each plus labor.I have only done this because I plan to spend the rest of my life in this house, otherwise not worth the trouble and money.

We appreciate and value your business over the years. As we have previously discussed, we are continuing to work internally and with the manufacturer to explore any available solutions to address your concerns.Your previous solar installations were designed around your historical consumption. The addition in 2021 of 12 panels was designed to cover 50% of your increase in usage versus the 20 panels we recommened; which would have covered 83% of your usage increase since the original installation. There is still remaining space on the roof for additional panels, if desired.Xcel Energy will credit your account for excess production, if any, and apply those credits toward ypur future bills. The battery addition in 2024 provides you with backup power in an outage; plus the ability to store your excess energy locally for self-consumption as needed.Because of the older existing service panel, the consumption is being monitored at the backup loads panel this is purely for electrical safety and electrical code compliance; as well as to avoid the cost of additional upgrades to you. We are continuing to explore any alternatives to this internally and with the manufacturer. The current recommended best solution is to add the three additional circuits as requested by you to the backup load panel for self-consumption and additional monitoring. We have offered to add the additional circuits and additional monitoring at no cost to you as a courtesy to you.Again, we are actively working to deliver additional solutions that address your concerns and enhance your experience with the products with all available options which may exist.

Atlasta Solar did a great job with our install and questions afterwards. I absolutely love having solar and several of our neighbors and coworkers have had Atlasta set up their solar systems as well.

Atlasta Solar Center is great. Devin was the lead installer on my installation. He was very professional and very efficient. The installation only took one day and I was up and running within 3 days of the installation.
