    We hired Esteban and Sonja Ramirez DBA Muddy Boots Landscaping at the beginning of October 2023 to landscape our front yard property. After taking a deposit from us they started the project, secured additional money as the project progressed, then abandoned the project before completion. I have reached out to them repeatedly via text, sometimes obtaining a response but it is always accompanied by an excuse ( their car broke down, family emergency, personal illness, no money to complete work). After 2 months of attempting them to complete the project, I was forced to buy the remaining materials and supplies and hire someone to finish the work. I contacted them and told them this would happen and that I would attempt to recover the money I spent in addition to a partial refund of the money paid them.
