Over the past year, I have filed multiple warranty claims on a new house. The company explained the warranty process. I have filed claims on the interior and the exterior of the home. There has only been 1 claims that was half-way fixed. I have filed a claim almost a year ago. The warranty claim was about the flooring issue in the loft. This is a brand new house and we are the first owners. They sent out a warranty officer to look at the issues. I pointed out all of the issues and the only one that showed up on time was the painter. The painter couldn't finish his job until the completely finish the door claim. We have had no progress in any claim we have entered. It is now the end of the year warranty on the house and none of the warranty claims are complete.

We are scheduled to assess the items reported in which the homeowner states are not complete. We remain committed to our warranty obligations and will repair any warrantable items per the terms and conditions of the warranty.

My fianc and I purchased our new build home September 2021. The home has came with several issues that we have had to contact the builders for in person and via email. Each time we have contacted them regarding the issues we have found nothing but excuses and contradictions between what they have stated and what the actual workers in the field have directly told us. The trades they have sent out continue to blame each other for job being done wrong. They are unethical and find short cuts every way possible. I have paper trail and images to prove the contradictions and lack of effort that they have demonstrated as a company to fulfill satisfaction towards their clients needs. I would never in a million years recommend these builders to anyone and I want to make sure that others dont have to undergo the same things we have had to deal with. Our backyard has been left a complete disaster while homes in front of ours have been left spotless. This is completely unacceptable.

I am rejecting this response because: Since meeting with my fianc on Monday 12/13/2021  nothing has been resolved. We have not received the solution that we are seeking in regards to the backyard.. I understand that the Holidays are approaching us but offering a plan in place to execute the matters with a clear time frame would be greatly appreciated.
Once again I feel as if its being left in the trades hands which havent even contacted us to set a time for any of our complaints so I am unsure of the miscommunication. The retaining wall has not been addressed what so ever which has been our primary concern.

      Sincerely,

      *******************************

We were looking for a house and saw that this communities states they get houses out quicker than other builders. When signing the contract in august, we were told the house would be completed in 4-6 months. It was not custom, you chose packages. After nothing done to the lot, we checked in because time was going by and they submitted the wrong plot to get approved for our lot. We were told we would get updates weekly and we have not at all. You can get ahold of any management, only the person who sells the houses, and her mailbox is full and she never answers the phone. There is absolutely no way to get in touch with anybody in regards to this company. I went back to the office and then was told the time frame was never 4-6 months, due to shortages it's been 7+ plus for a very long time. We got under contract for selling our current house and paid the ****** in the time they asked. It's now been 4.5 months and we don't even have foundation. I've asked for management to call and never receive a call. I have a whole family to move within 45 days as our rental lease ends and we have no where to go. We are trying to buy a resale house as we can close within 30 days and when I called century communities, the sales agent asked why. I told her we needed somewhere to live and nothing was moving forward with the house, along side no contact. She told us we wouldn't get our money back and it will take 2-3 weeks to cancel. I asked for managers number and she said they don't give out numbers. She said she would have them call me but as I had mentioned, the last time she said that I never received a call. She also said the agent I talked to about the time line was new and didn't know. I told her this is one company and there shouldn't be separate things being told. I need help. My family needs a home to live in. I have four kids, husband and dogs. They won't contact me back

Our warranty will be expiring 12/9/21. I reported a broken kitchen cabinet at the beginning of this year & no one can tell me if it's been ordered. Additionally, we have concrete that has created a tripping hazard on the driveway & this has also created a crack in the driveway concrete. The backyard steps have also dropped by 1inch. I have items from the final walk through before we closed that have yet to be resolved. They were suppose to replace a few boards in the kitchen that have yet to be followed up on. We had someone inspect the flooring in our guest bathroom only to report that "this was normal" for flooring to raise. Not only did they show up without prior notice, but the floor issue was not resolved to our satisfaction. It's still uneven throughout the house. I had a inspector come by & have a 91 page report with various issues in our home. They show up announced, provide no follow up, and ignore my request to extend our warranty given the ongoing concerns & lack of response

      Hello,

Thank you for your prompt reply. I did want to make you aware of a typo on my claim. I accidentally noted that we wanted our warranty extended for a additional 10 years. OOOPS! What i meant was, we are requesting that our warranty be extended for an additional 12 months (1 year).

Attached is a copy of the report from our inspection. I've not had time to review all 91 pages, but will do so shortly and report all other issues to our builder via there warranty web page.
