I brought my vehicle in on 6/28 to be repaired. I was advised they would start on it that day and it should be a day or two. Then 6/30 I was advised they hadnt started on my vehicle and it would be done by Saturday 7/2. At approx 2:45 Saturday afternoon I called meineke and was advised they still have not started on it and it would be another 3 days before its done possibly. This is absolutely ridiculous. I dont have transportation to work, Ive spent my last trying to get to and from because meineke wont do their **** job and keeps pushing blame on everyone else and not even communicating. I want my vehicle fixed asap and compensation for the extra unnecessary travel expenses because I have to work.Initial Complaint

About 6 months ago I went into the Meineke shop to get a new muffler installed. I was told my vehicle would be ready the next day in the morning. I arrived 2 hours after the shop opened and was told the work would take another hour. 5 hours later and several time being told the work would take just another hour, I finally received my truck. I was upset at the delay and lack of honesty as the delay caused me to miss a meeting and lose a *****. Being upset I went online and left a bad review. 3 months later I noticed my muffler was beginning to fall off so I returned to the mechanic to see what could be done. The manager there remembered me and was unhappy with the bad review I gave. He refused to even look at my vehicle to verify the problem and was extremely rude. I then called Meineke customer service to see what could be done and possibly get a refund. I was informed the work was under a 1 year warranty and I could just return to the shop to get it fixed. I returned today to have it taken care off and was once again harassed by the manager. He said "he has the memory of an elephant" and all but refused to work on my vehicle. I paid over $700 dolors for the install and have spent countless hours trying to resolve the issue. I would like to get a refund as I no longer trust Meineke to do the work.
