I received a bill stating I owed $169.70 as a past due amount. I contacted the office based on the phone number on the invoice ************. I have never been to this office and neither have any of my family members. When I called to dispute it, they had the names of all of family members but said they have never seen us in their office, meaning disregard the letter. I'm concerned that either 1. They are randomly billing to collect money that is not owed to them or 2. This will end up in collections and my credit score will be affected. The woman in the office didn't give me any useful information about how this invoice was generated or even what can be done to ensure its not reflected as an error.

I've been a patient of Heather Park Dental for a few years now, with no issues. In late 2021 I went through the process with a specialist to perform an extraction and dental implant. Once the surgery portion of that process was complete, I was referred back to Heather Park Dental (my primary care dentist) to complete the process of getting a crown placed where the dental implant was. I went in for my initial impressions on March 9, 2022. I was told it would be a few weeks (2-6) and they'd call me back to schedule the next step. After not hearing back from the dental office, I reached out on May 25, 2022. I was told that my crown was "lost in the mail" and I needed to come in the same day in order to do impressions again before the on-site dentist left the business and they were without a dentist to perform those duties. I dropped everything and made my way in, understanding that sometimes these things happen. Since that appointment in May, I've not been able to get any response from anyone at the dental office on the status of my crown. I finally went to the office and asked if I could simply get my money refunded for services not rendered. I was told I could, and they would follow up. As I've continued to call this office, other dental offices, and reached out to the overarching dental group with no response, I decided to finally file a claim. If nothing else, to keep others from having to deal with this inadequate level of customer service and not have their money stolen from them. The bill I paid in March was over $1500 and I haven't received the services/product that I paid for or any response to my request for a refund, or even the courtesy of a call back to talk through the issue.
