    I called hottub outlet to see if I could order a hottub cover to replace a damaged cover on my hottub and also if they repair leaks. I sent information on the leaks with video and images and was told they would need to send out someone to take a look to give me an estimate. I called ****** from hto to schedule an appointment, but I called back to ask if they would charge me for sending someone out. I left a voicemail for her , but never got a response. I called back again to cancel appointment, but again, got no response. On the day of the appointment, a service guy showed up at my door. I was shocked that they still did not cancel my appointment, but since he was already there, I told him about the issue and said I sent videos and images of the leak. The service tech asked to go check the hottub, so I led him to the hottub and he proceeded to open the cover without filling it up or anything else. Then he told me it can't be fixed and left the cover without replacing it back. I don't understand how he's able to determine it can't be fixed without filing up the hottub to see the leak. If they had known leaks can't be fixed, why send out a service tech in the first place? Then the tech told me I would be charged 198, which I was shocked about and because he was there at my house, I asked to call the guy I spoke to prior, ****. **** told me that it can't be fixed and he doesn't recommend replacing the cover, but he would give me a discount on a new hottub and refund the service charge of 198. I contacted **** and he gave me an outrageously expensive option to get a new one, so I asked him about some others and from there never got a response again after multiple attempts. I would like a refund of the 198, which I believe I was tricked into paying. They did not do anything but create more work for me to replace the cover the tech opened up and he did nothing more than look for a few seconds without any type of diagnosing.
