    In December 2023, I was contacted by **** *******, representing Denver Roof Pros, regarding an alleged outstanding balance for roof repairs at *************************************************** **** ******* claimed that I was responsible for this debt, despite the fact that I never signed any contract with Denver Roof Pros. The contract in question was signed solely by ************************* on June 23, 2023, and under Colorado law, only signatories to a contract are bound by its obligations.Despite my repeated clarifications and evidence that I did not sign the contract, **** ******* has continued to pursue payment from me. He has also threatened to turn the debt over to a collections agency, which could negatively impact my credit.I believe these collection attempts are unjustified and constitute an attempt to collect a debt that I do not owe. I have made several attempts to resolve this issue directly with **** *******, including providing evidence of the unsigned contract, but he has refused to drop the matter. This situation has caused significant stress, and I am now seeking assistance from the BBB to facilitate a resolution.

    We absolutely did everything that this customer is alleging. At the time of the roof installation she was married to her husband. We signed an agreement with them to replace the roof. Her husband at the time did sign the agreement, representing them and their household. After the roof was installed they went through nasty divorce. She was felt like she had no responsibility to pay her half of the bill. He husband's lawyer did infact tell her and us that she was responsible for her half of the roof as the insurance company did remit payment to them while there were still married, and that payment was meant to be sent to us as the contractor. The husband paid his half right away with no problems. The customer is trying to get out of her half of the payment to us for service that were rendered. Yes, we will be send her to collections for the amount owed, and interest and if not paid in the next 30 days, we will be suing in small claims court. It is pretty straight forward. She owes her half of the money. Her husband's lawyer is pretty clear on that based on the divorce decree.

    I purchased my home in 2021, and the roof was repaired via Denver Roof Pros. At time of the roof being repaired, I opted to upgrade to Hail Resistant Shingles, but more importantly, their extended warranty protection service. This year, 2023, we had a massive hail storm. I asked them to come out for an annual inspection, and they did. However, I have never heard back from them concerning the visible damage a ****** can see, nor their remedy. I have waited patiently for 2 months. I have left numerous voice messages (will provide call logs), spoke with a secretary (to no avail), and exchanged text messages as well (have full list of messages). I kept being advised the owner, *****, will reach out to me. I even waited for two weeks while he was on "vacation". No contact occurred. I texted when I was told he was back, and advised he'd call me in 30 mins. No call, so I reached back out, and nothing. Called again today, left voice message, and no response or call back. No one at this company will return a phone call or text. At this moment in time, their "extended warranty" is appearing to be nothing more than a money grab and fraudulent. I humbly request refund for my payment for the extended warranty. I have the full text chat I can send, my phone call log, and original email chain from 2021 too. I will also be filing a complaint with the ***************** for this company's business practices.
