    Just was contacted from the claim's department, for a Plumbing Claim we filed with them in march, the contract said that the cover the plumbing witch they denied for the reason that the main drain rusted and they don't cover rust is a preventive maintenance which in not covered, I asked how to prevent rust on cast iron main pipe, he told me to use steel wool and dry it !!!! I have been building custom home's for over 30 year's, The first time i have ever heard that this is not a cast iron pan. If anyone can tell me what the preventive maintenance is on cast iron pipe! Other then regular inspections, addressing scale buildup, and avoiding exposure to damaging substances.

    I purchased my home 2yrs ago. The home is over 20yrs old. We had a rain storm m and I thought i lost partial power because of the storm. Called the electricity provider they reported it wasn't the storm it was the breaker box. Filed a claim with homesafe. An electrician came. Reported to homesafe the breaker box was bad and that I noticed the issues the day of the rain storm so I assumed it was that but it was just the breaker box. The warranty company reported since the box is over 20yrs old and possible rain storm they don't cover preexisting items so they wouldn't cover the cost to replace the breaker box. Any home you buy that's 20yrs old may have preexisting issues so for them to not cover the cost knowing it had nothing to do with the storm that the breaker box just went bad over time is crazy. What do i need warranty for if I still end up coming out of pocket to replace items in the home. I wouldn't recommend anyone to this company or any warranty company for that matter as when it comes to expensive items to be replaced they will find a way to not cover the cost. Oh! But if your microwave goes out they will pay the 80$ for that. Lol. Warranty companies are ************ collect a monthly payment faithfully but never cover you when you need them too the most.

    I receive mail from these clowns every month, sometimes weekly. I've called and asked to be removed from their mailing list, but that hasn't happened.I've opted out of every online program, but it continues anyway.I toss the mail in the trash, which is what I wish I could do with this company.

    I sent *** all required documents and completed the pre move survey. Here I am WEEKS later with no pack, move or delivery date. When I contact them I keep getting told theres no service providers available for your area. Its DC! How? Speaking with my move coordinator was useless. She did absolutely nothing to help other than to say be patient. Im supposed to clear housing. How much more patient can I be? *** is a joke that doesnt provide quality service to anyone.

    Be very wary of the exclusion called RUST. I have had some success in getting home safe to pay Claims but too many times the RUST has denied a claim. What do you expect with the cast-iron plumbing system once you add water to it? What do you expect in a washing machine when you add water to ? I had a burst pipe in my house and the pipe was behind the wall and the excuse for denying the claim was RUST the pipe burst $1500 later repair was denied. So home safe, penalizes people that own an older home and have cast-iron drain pipes. Ive had the policy for three years now at $79 a month if I add that all up I would have the money to pay this claim. Be very wary when you purchase and read the exclusions carefully.

    I'm very pleased how my claim was resolved. After speaking with the claim's agent who reassured me of my warranty contract concerning the repairs needed for my oven. I was pleased with how the claim's agent quickly handled my claim. After speaking with the agent I received a phone call informing me of payment for the repairs needed. Thank you for honoring my contract with safe home.

    I just got told by a home safe alliance supervisor that you need to stop talking and stop asking questions or Im going to make sure we deliver on the latest date we can. Apparently me asking if its a third party warrants threats against my belongings.

    Horrible. The advertisements and Sales team completely led me to believe my home articles were covered for full replacement value only to learn the actual contract has a limit on what is paid out. If the sales team told me up front I had limited coverage, I would have shopped elsewhere. Sure its deep in the 20 page contract, but all advertising and sales data state FULL COVERAGE!! Its just wrong, stay away from them.

    Do not pay claims. I contacted Homesafe to get authorization for a service request on 12-23-24 but no one was available to give me authorization. The temperature was below freezing. I had no heat and no hot water. I hired a contractor to repair my gas line leaks. My claim was denied because the adjuster stated I was not given authorization. They breached the contract because they were not available to give authorization. The contract states they are available 24/7. I was with this company four years. I filed four claims. All but one claim was denied. I cancelled my contract. ************ require you to find a contractor that will accept payment directly from them ************ doesn't hire their own ontractors which makes it harder to get repairs fix in a timely manner.
