    We had a rehearsal dinner followed by a welcome party for my daughter and her husband to be on October 14. The event was paid in full in advance of the dinner / party. On the afternoon of the event we asked *******************************, owner, to give us a price for adding liquor to the welcome party. She called me at 7 pm during the dinner and said we could add liquor to the welcome party for $1200. We agreed to the price and provided a credit card from *************** (father of the groom) to pay for it. When the welcome party ended at 11 pm the bar tender told the groom, ********************* that the bill had not been paid and he could not leave until it was. ********************* provided his credit card not knowing that *************** had paid it. I contacted the owner ******************************* on Monday Oct 17 and she agreed that there was a duplicate payment and it would be refunded. We did not receive the refund so I talked to her again on Oct 26 when she told me the refund was processed thru Toast. But still no refund was received. I have called ****** a total of 15 times and texted 6 times between Oct 17 and Nov 9. She is not responding. I also emailed her. As of today Nov 9 no refund has been received and no response from *********************, owner of Dickens.

    I have been told by the ******** ************** that they closed several weeks ago and there is a For Lease sign in the window.
