      I tried paying the $621.60 today Friday, February 21st, ******************** the letter that if the amount of the letter is paid that my storage unit is paid before 2/24/2025 that it will not got to auction. When I went to pay I was told that I owe the auction fee of $100 making my payment $721.60 so they would not accept my payment and told me the letter states that I was responsible for all fees of the sale. When I tried explaining that it says it shouldnt have gone to auction yet they kept talking over me and just kept talking about Illinois law so I got loud with them and they told me they where calling the police and I said that was fine and I will wait. Then they proceeded to tell me I needed to leave and I said I will wait in my car then. Then I was told I need to leave the property all together. I said fine, I will go sit in the lot next door. I then proceeded to then just call the police myself and then they called while I was speaking with the cops. The policeman I spoke with agreed the letter was grimy but said it could read both ways but that they left it loose enough that they could try to get away with things but did take the letter to point out that it did say state if doesnt go to auction until 2/24/2025. Once he came back they told him that they would take my $621.60 payment but i would have to have my things out within 48 hours because I would not be allowed back in the property because I got loud with an employee otherwise they will sell my things out of my unit and they send the remaining balance to come to collections. They also told him that I could not go back to pay until Saturday or Mondaything is no one is there in Saturdays to give a payment to and there is no drop box and come Monday it will have gone to auction and I would have to pay the fee that I dont have the money to pay and I feel they are trying to make me pay it. Plus I work during the week and wouldnt have time to get items out in 48 hours.

      On September 21st 2023 my storage unit was broken into and no one notified me. Was just told today when I went to facility and noticed my lock gone.

      05/15/2024 date the storage unit was closed. Letter received05/28/2024 confirmation letter sent of closed unit Paid $2306.00 for year storage . Moved out in May. $588.00 was the balance due to me for the early move out.Red Dot Sold to Storage *************** in August. Neither company will process the refund. After 8 phone calls and get the run around from both companies saying neither is responsible . Unable to talk to a person in charge from Red Dot just ******************

      We have a lease with this company and reported on 7/14/24 that the door to our storage unit (F14) would not open. The door needs maintenance-- nothing of ours is impeding it, it's something with the track that the door slides on. No one works at the facility daily, a request has to be put in for the Facility Manager to come and look at the door. We can't contact that person, we're told it is a one-way message. We are told Facility Managers don't work weekends. That is the best time for us to access our unit because we are not working. I take off work to meet the Facility Manager at 10:15 Monday when I am told he will arrive. He cannot even see the problem unless I'm there to take off my private lock I'm required to purchase. He doesn't show. I called back three times to get an update. The second time I asked that a supervisor call me back. They haven't. The third time, a rep told me that the Facility Manager had Monday off. They told me he would instead be here today at 10 a.m. He still didn't show. I called back and no one can help me except to put in a one-way request for a supervisor to contact me. We are losing money because we can't access our stuff and are trying to sell it. Yet, the second we are late on our bill, they shut down our access. We are current now but can't access. This company's communication and service is ineffective and I don't recommend anyone trusting them.

      I moved into a storage garage that already had a dirty rug in it. I reported it in my review and now they are trying to charge me $150 dollars even though it wasnt mine and informed them. Their customer service keeps hanging up on me every time I try to call however, they keep harassing me about paying to have a carpet removed thats not mine.

      Access to the storage facility in ********* ** has not been available for 2 days now. There is a carbboard sign on the gate that says it will be fixed Monday. We have called the customer service line and they have no idea when it will be fixed, or if even today. The facility is supposed to have 24hr Access. After calling several times to see if someone could unlock another locked gate, the company just says someone will be out at sometimes. Asked if we would like a curtesy call back. I just want to get my stuff out of my storage unit that should be able to be accessed 24/7.

      I started renting a unit 6/22/2023 the place was nice had a coded gate to enter, security cameras, the lease stats a security guard may be able to question you upon entering, never have I seen a guard there, there had been a large amount of break ins on multiple units and this was never communicated with lease's of the units, I was make notified of my unit was robbed on 6/12/2024 the gate was not in good working condition, it was missing several pieces, and all the security cameras were spray painted black over the lenses. if the gate and security cameras were not working they should have reached out to let the renters to give us the option to move to a new company, their failure to do so resulted in a large loss of property for myself. with this being said i believe i should be compensated for all my losses.

      I am the Administrator for the Estate of *********************************** who rented storage units A010 and A011 at *******************************************************************************************, prior to his death on June 16, 2023. On 11/2/2023, I arrived at the location to find I could not gain access to the storage units. After working with **********************, I made a second attempt 11/10/2023 and discovered unit A010 appeared to have a broken spring on the door and access was unsafe. This was the one and only time I was given access to these storage units.Despite mailing $1,299.00 (3 months payments for two units) to ********************** 010, *****************************, as indicated on their invoices, and with **** tracking to confirm receipt, I was never given access to these units again. ********************** admitted to delays in processing my checks, delays in crediting the account because of their ineffective process of having invoices mailed to ******* and then shipped to ******* to have the funds applied to customers accounts, and the possibility that they lost two checks. The result was a consistent open balance despite payments being mailed on time.In an effort to resolve this issue, I sent many emails to Suzi at ************************************* called their offices many times, and mailed a letter to *******************************, Chief Executive ******** ********************** ****************************************************************************************** (**** tracking shows confirmation of receipt December 11, 12:48PM).Throughout this process, despite ********************** being at fault, I continuously received harassing emails, phone messages and texts stating that the contents of Mr. ******* storage units would be auctioned. Eventually, I was asked for patience, and I said I would be patient if the company would refrain from these communications. I was informed that these automated calls could not be stopped, and I was asked to simply ignore all communications (1/8/2024 3:05 pm).

      I have a unit at red dot storage in ***********, unit # ***.I went to my unit in March and noticed the wall missing between *** and 008, I took pictures and sent to management of red dot.I was told to meet with facility Mgr. I met with her and asked what happened, she asked if they notified me of a burglary ,they cut the lock on unit 009, removed the wall between 008 and ***. She asked me to take my belongings out so she cod put the wall between *** and 008. I said I was not notified and did not bring someone to help me move my furniture out. I misplaced my key to the lock,so I called this morning 4/15/24, I was told the facility Mgr can meet me a week from now, I told them I have to go out if town Wednesday this week so they said she can meet you Wednesday at 12pm, I told them again I am leaving Wednesday morning. I told them they did not report to me there was a burglary, they are not letting me speak to a supervisor to resolve problem, the first person with customer service that I was speaking with hung up on me and did not call back so it was intentional not lost connection.This is a terrible way to do business, and custo er service refuses to let me speak with a Mgr. Or supervisor to resolve this problem immediately I even offered to **** with someone tomorrow 4-16,24, they refuse.

      I have had 3 units with red dot storage and paid on time for months. There was a break in at my location (***************). Because of that red dot storage put a lock on my unit. Next time I went to access my unit I was unable to use the code given. After calling multiple times I was told a supervisor would have to come out and change it because it was incorrect. Waited weeks and it never happened. I called multiple times and was not helped. So I decided I want to leave and go somewhere else because clearly the customer service is not good. I scheduled a move out- of course life happened and I had a death in my family and was unable to move out within the time frame- then had a vacation out of the country so I was charged for another month on all 3 units.understandably. I called and asked to atleast be compensated for the lack of access to one of the units since the break in and no one cared.once againso I told them I would pay on the unit they had the most items and move out of it. I went to move out and didnt have gate access even though this unit was FULLY PAID. I called and was told because my other two units werent paid I couldnt go in the gate. Even though I signed 3 SEPARATE LEASES.I was denied access to a PAID UNIT!! Now, I was told I had to wait over 30 days to do any sort of collections with them. Basically I paid that unit for no reason at all. It was pointless. I have no idea how you can deny access to a unit that is fully paid but it is disgusting and unprofessional and extremely unacceptable!
