I would give zero stars if I could. I had an issue at about 7pm where my shower was flowing water. I was going out of town the next morning and needed it fixed for my dog and house sitter. I called a lot of places and this was the only one that had time to come out that night and not a few days away, despite those places saying they were 24/7. Anyways, I get them out after paying a $100 emergency service fee. Thats fine I get it. they give me a 2h window of when to expect someone and about an hour or so into that window I got a text saying they were on the way. Hooray. Well maybe 20 ish minutes later they call me to say they arent on their way yet and it was an accident. Ok fine, I was a little upset but ok mistakes happen. They guy gets there and he was super friendly. He looks and tells me what the issue was (had to replace the cartridge in the faucet). I had been so frazzled over the last few hours that when he gave me the estimate I signed it. I didnt think I had time to find someone else. He does the work and everything is fixed. What I realized after my brain stopped spinning was that they charged me $736 (on top of the $100) for the part that costs about $50. The invoice doesnt say labor, it just has the service fee and the part. Even if the part was high end at $100, charging over $600 for 20m of work is highway robbery. Even if there was an hour minimum fee, thats outrageous. Other companies charge $300/hr tops. I tried to get ahold of them to talk through this and they have ignored me completely and ****** responded. Dont use them, even in a jam. Find someone better, transparent about their pricing, and responsive.

So sorry that you weren't happy with the upfront price quote you were given before the technician started the work, after the problem is fixed and you can continue with your plans.

There are many more factors that determine price than just the time the technician was there.

You got what you wanted, when you wanted it and now all of a sudden you didn't realize what you signed and approved?

You're upset that it only took 2 hrs for a tech to get there when you couldn't even get anyone else to come ?

You were not charged $786 for a $50 part, (which cost considerably more than that) you were charged $786 for a technician to drive a truck full of parts to your house at 7PM to diagnose and solve your problem in a timely manner, including parts and labor, so you could get on with getting out of town, and the dog and housesitter would have water for your piece of mind.

I assume the other companies that you think would only charge you $300 were the same ones you couldn't get ahold of?

I do not have any record of you attempting to contact us in regards to this. We answer the phones 24/7 as you know because we came out at 7 pm and fixed the problem. I hope this helps you understand the process we use. If not you can reach out to me (******@911rooterandplumbing) and I will call you back.
