I paid in full for a rebuilt engine. He sent the wrong engine. I then got a bad motor that has knocked since day 1. It was installed by the Subaru book bolt by bolt to torqued specifications. It does not leak, it was not over heated, does not burn oil. It knocks because it was not machined or checked for clearance in 1 spot, that does not fall on a paying customer. In big ol writing his website states 6 year, unlimited warranty. A customer shouldn't pay for a product that's not up to par over and over. I want a rebuilt engine because I paid for a rebuilt engine. I did not make 1 mistake leading to this, his engine builder made a mistake. A mistake the builder makes should not have to fall in the customer to spend a single dime on, and I'm not the 1st he's done this to. It was around $3100. He got his money, and is now trying to keep it unless I pay to replace his mistake.Business response

I'm sorry you are having a problem with your engine. We shipped you the correct engine on 8-15-2023. In today's voicemail that you left, you said that you have put 18,000 miles on the engine. On 4-11-24 you sent me an email saying that the engine "was running amazing" that 4 months ago. You are not being asked to pay for the engine again. The engine is covered under the warranty which I have attached to this response. When the engine is ready to be picked up, let me know and I will email you the paperwork to ship it back to us. We will repair or replace it per the warranty and ship it back to you. Thank you.
