This is the finest independent publisher in the business. Everyone is professional, engage with your book directly, and gives great advice and insights. I have published three books with Outskirts Press and each time it was a delightful experience. No press can beat Outskirts!

Be sure to check the fine print. One year after my first book was published, I got a notice from them that I had to pay $36 for the extended agreement; this is due every year on all my books and I have two through them. I called several times but no one would pick up the phone.Outskirts Press, Inc.

Each year authors are responsible for a $25 Annual Distribution Subscription Fee for their distributed print titles. ******************** has 2 published titles with us. ******************** agreed contractually to this fee prior to completing the purchase of both his publishing packages. Our Director of Production will be reaching out privately to explain the new $36 annual fee for his digital eBook editions. ********************** can either agree to this new service or elect to opt out of the new service.Review fromPaul F

I have used the outstanding support and insights from Outskirts Press for the second time, to publish my second leadership book. This organization has been fully committed to helping the author with each step to bring to market the writings successfully. I have published two books with OutsKirtsPress, and my experience since the begging to end was incredible. Everyone from the production team was very professional and very dedicate. Great marketing and distribution sales support. The toolkits and ideas that the production share with you is amazing. I thank you everyone. Each one was awesome. The two things that this author was not aware of which would have made the difference in whom he would select as a publisher:The author is required to pay an annual fee to Outskirts Press in order for his book(s) to remain on line.If the author dies and his friends or heirs do not continue paying those yearly fees after his death, all his works are immediately removed from all sites. His publications become as dead as he is!Outskirts Press, Inc.

Outskirts Press's reply to my problem was simple and unambiguous; They were not at all concerned about my wanting my novels to remain on line after my death; and they had no suggestion as to how I could continue paying my annual fee throughout eternity in order to keep my writings viable. I submitted a glowing review of Outskirts Press a couple weeks back when I received the first paperback author copies of my new book. I was thrilled with the entire publishing process with Outskirts as well as the final product. Then I received the hardcover copies of my book and I was not happy. There was an issue with the alignment of the cover image relative to the words printed on the cover. I contacted Outskirts with my concerns and they got back to me immediately. We exchanged emails back and forth to clarify the the issue and determine the best remedy. Here is why this is still a Five Star review, or a Five Star Plus, if that is even possible. In any business there will be times when something happens that leaves a customer less than fully satisfied. That was me. But what separates truly great companies from good to average ones is their willingness to acknowledge an issue and address it quickly and satisfactorily with the customer. This was my experience with ******************. I communicated directly with the project manager, C. M., who was great. She worked with the cover designer to resolve the issue quickly. In a few days adjustments were made to the dust jacket for all future orders and I received replacement dust jackets for the books I had already ordered and received. It was customer service at its best. I will definitely return to Outskirts to publish my next book.Outskirts Press, Inc.

I just received my author copies of my book. It is hard to put into words how happy I am with the book. It is SO BEAUTIFUL! The cover and every page within are so beautifully designed; the presentation and the quality are impeccable. Working with Outskirts Press was so amazing. My initial representative introduced me to Outskirts Press, their processes, services and costs. She remained thoughtful and helpful as I took my time to finish writing and decide on using their services. Any time I had questions she responded in a timely manner. When I signed on, another representative was assigned to me as my author representative. She was always kind, thorough and helpful, and quick with answering all my questions. She made sure I was informed of every step in the process. The editing staff are knowledgeable, skilled and thorough. And those who did the design and layout are fabulous!! I had my own illustrator and they worked with placing our illustrations just as I had indicated. After publishing, I had help with creating a Kindle version, and with marketing. All very helpful! When I publish again, I will definitely return to Outskirts Press.Outskirts Press, Inc.

**** , **** and the entire Outskirts team did a great job of ushering me through the publication process. This was my 2nd book with Outskirts and I am not the most "technology savvy" individual, but they were very helpful in getting my project to where I wanted it to be. I have had several childrens books published by Outskirts throughout the years. They are the best. Their staff are attentive, efficient, and conscientious. When it comes to assisting their author's, they make sure you are satisfied every step of the publishing process. Yes, it is a little costly, but worth it in the end. Also, they do most of the hard work for you, printing, distributing, and having your work sent to numerous reviewers. Make sure you have a good solid idea about your perfect idea for a book, before you choose Outskirts. Then the rest of the process will be easy, and they will handle the rest of it for you.Outskirts Press, Inc.

My first time writing and publishing my book with Outskirts was good. Before I went with them, I read the reviews before moving forward. Yes Outskirts Press do have lot of high price fees and additional charges, I voided them. Had my book professional edit and copyrighted my self. I aslo learn you can put your book on Amazon and Kindle, Yourself, which is the title of my book and save lots of money!!! So I suggested to any one, if you want Outskirts to do everything for you, it going cost YOU. If you want to save money, take the time to do it YOURSELF.Outskirts Press, Inc.

We are delighted that ************ had a good publishing experience. We offer our services a la cart so authors can choose to do some of the work themselves and save money or they can choose to have professional help with tasks they might need help with.
