Very unorganized. We had a birthday party there and when I went to pay the deposit I specially asked can we bring our own food and cupcakes and the girl named ***** said yes. We show up for the party and they yelled at us and told us we cant bring the pizza in because they have an agreement with ******************* and no other food is allowed in the building. To make matters worse, instead of trying to make things right, ***** was argumentative and rude. ***** kept insisting that ******** was the one who told me we were allowed to bring food when the deposit receipt says ***** on it. We wouldnt of wasted money on other food if she said upfront we couldnt have it in there. Also there were no available kids size shoes, less weighted ***** (4 year olds using 11lb and 12lb balls) and the ramp for the younger kids. That all in itself is not right being they knew our party was a kids party (4 & 6yo). At the end of the party I waited at the counter for 20mins. to pay and all three employees were walking around like they had no clue what they were doing. I understand they are busy but not one person was helped in the time I was there and a line formed behind me. They need to work on their communication and organization. Overall it was a bad experience.

I am sorry to hear it was not an enjoyable time. However, the counter personal, who book all parties, explain the birthday package in great detail. We make it very clear, whether giving basic information over the phone and/or at the time of booking, No outside food or drink is allowed to be brought in. We have signs posted on the front doors and at the front counter. The only exception we make when you purchase the birthday package is the allowance of the birthday cake and ice cream. Our package includes 2 large ******************* pizzas, which is our neighbor upstairs who we have had an agreement with for over 20 years. The pizza is brought in by a Bowlero Lanes staff member only. The employee mentioned has worked for our company for over a year. I apologize if she raised her voice or seemed rude to anyone. She stated to the customer, as they entered the establishment, that little cesars pizza was not allowed. The customer argued with my employee claiming she was told, she could. My employee then called me (******** - owner) and asked if I could help her explain to the customer, who I could hear yelling in the background, that she could not bring in little cesars. I spoke with a woman - told her who I was and explained that not myself nor my staff gave her permission to bring in outside food. Cake and ice cream only. We book ***** birthday parties a week this time of year. The day in question we hosted 11 birthday parties, 7 of which were booked by said employee herself. I do have a bit of a hard time believing that 1 out of 7 parties was told something different. Our staff is aware that the consequences of giving false information to a customer could cost them their job. Therefore, they stick to the script. I am truly sorry for anyone who is upset. As for the bowling shoes for 4-6 year olds - we have never carried that small of a bowling shoe for safety concerns for very small children.
