Visiting Angels - Pueblo is part of a network of approximately 600 individually owned agencies across the United States. We are all bound by the same set of standards and overseen by the home office in Philadelphia, PA. Visiting Angels - Pueblo has been in business since 2000. We serve Pueblo, Pueblo West, Cañon City, Penrose, Florence, Walsenburg, Trinidad, La Junta and most of Southern Colorado. We are licensed, bonded, and insured. All of our employees receive a full background check, reference check, and drug screening prior to employment. All of our caregivers receive regular training, above the state required minimum. We also have a mentoring program to help any employees that need extra attention with special focus on new employees.

Our Mission and Philosophy:

The passionate safe care of our seniors and disabled in our community is the reason we exist. Everything we do is with the goal of giving our clients the ability to live safely at home and age in place. We strive to educate our community on the services that are available to them while being a leader in the non-medical care industry. We also strive to educate clients and their families on how to care for loved ones with Alzheimer’s disease and Dementia.

We offer non-medical care consisting of – Bathing assistance, Grooming assistance, Assistance with walking, Light housekeeping, Medication reminders/assistance, Errands/shopping, Meal preparation, Laundry, Friendly companionship and Respite care for families. We are available as little as 3 hours per day up to 24 hours per day, 1 to 7 days per week 365 days a year. We are more than happy to drive a client to doctor appointments, the grocery store, church, or just take them out for a piece of pie and a soda.
