Just by viewing the reviews and one particular review response. I'd say this site is fake. No one actually talks like these 5 star reviewers. They all look like ads... And the one legit 1 star review gets attacked by the company and drops thier coping mechanism..... very unprofessional. If you have eyes I feel you know to stay clear of this app.

I have been using EMDR for over 15 years, in various settings (both with a therapist and by using other, self-guided experiences online). I found Virtual EMDR in February of 2024 and used it for 30 days. I was very impressed with the ability to change settings and keep a record of my experiences, directly on the web site. The interface is very user friendly and intuitive, even if you have never had a session. I was able to attack issues that I wanted to work on, as well as those that were released from deep within my psyche (by virtue of the intense experience provided and how it allows the brain to open itself to connected trauma). I am so grateful for the various ways that Virtual EMDR was able to help me with anxiety and CPTSD (and PTSD) from across my lifetime. It was life-changing and a service that I intend to harness for personal growth throughout the next few years of my life. I feel better, emotionally, than I have in a very long time, due to trauma I have been able to release using Virtual EMDR. Finally, the value of multiple sessions for a very reasonable price is incredible. The monthly cost to use this service would not even cover one session with my old EMDR therapist. SO very grateful for this!

I was stuck. In my head. In my past trauma and depression. Using EMDR several times a day really helped me change some thinking patterns. I'll certainly use it again and recommend it.

Excellent alternative to in person EMDR. Work at your own pace. Really helpful for PTSD, CPTSD.

VirtualEMDR Reviews Thank you so much for this fantastic resource! Im a seasoned therapy veteran for decades who also had traditional EMDR with a therapist. It was life changing but I could not afford to continue, as it was standard pay-per-session therapy. I remember asking if there was an at home option, and at that time, there wasnt (or we didnt know about VirtualEMDR). Fast forward to today when Ive recently uncovered a ton of unknown and suppressed deep issues/traumas but still cant afford therapy rates, especially for how often I want/need EMDR sessions.VirtualEMDR is a godsend that is helping me turn around suicidal depression, debilitating anxiety, and work through a lifetime of traumas. I saw a review that said VirtualEMDR is saving lives; and that is no exaggeration. Its absolutely true, and there are no words to express the gratitude I feel for that. But it runs deeper than that.Im a loving partner, a father of 3, a brother/uncle/nephew/cousin/friend, a work colleague at a ******************* a yogi-in-trainingindeed my life touches hundreds or thousands of others. By helping me survive and even learn to thrive, my entire web of influence (which is profound for each and every person, living or not) reaps thebenefits. Thank you on behalf of me, my kids, my partner, and everyone else who benefits from me showing up with authenticity and wholeness. The least I can do is write this review and encourage others to use this fantastic resource.************** - ******

I am so thankful I found this company. I knew there had to be someone out there who found a way to help you do this at home. Try it for free for 3 days and see if it helps you, I felt a difference in one session.

One of very few (potentially the only??) resources online for self-guided EMDR. I decided to sign up after becoming interested in this type of therapy and seeing that self-guided is pretty much as good as in-person, but cheaper. Easy to use website.

This site uses deceptive billing practices and doesn't ever send any charge confirmation emails or notifications about automatic renewals. I signed up and paid for 1 month. Little did I know that it was an automatic subscription! They don't tell you this up front; it's buried at the very bottom of the **** I logged in after four months of not using the service because I finally noticed the charge on my credit card, and there was no info under Billing History. When I looked at my subscription details, it said (Trialing) but I was still being charged! I've paid 3 extra months at $69.99 per month, not knowing that I was still signed up. (Yes, I should have checked my credit card **** sooner. Life happens. That's not the point.) They should have confirmation emails after signing up and after each charge with clear language that this was a subscription that would be auto-renewed like every ethical company does. I looked back at my email record: the only email I received from this company was when I registered for the three-day trial and had to validate my email! Avoid, or at least watch your subscription status like a hawk. Which, if you're going through tough times (and that's why you needed this service to begin with) is tough to do. Don't let it slip past you like I did.

It is stated, upfront, 3-4 times in bold letters that this is a renewing subscription that you can cancel at anytime, so this person knew this going in. When you run a therapy and wellness company, you often deal with people who have severe mental health issues.....or alcoholism. As a result you occasionally get a client who is looking to blame your company for their life situation like this. It is important to note that we have thousands of clients who love our program and rave about how helpful it is, and it is extremely rare to have someone like ***** who blames us in this way.

Wow. Did they really blame the result of their poor website design on someone's mental illness? It still doesn't change the fact that they don't send out renewal notices like every other company, and my account history on the website never showed any billing history. To the company: Yes, I am livid, but don't blame your poor business practices on customers who get taken and then realize it. And if you're designing a business for people with mental illness, wouldn't you want to make sure that every step after sign-up is clearly indicated? I'm almost certain I cancelled the subscription after I signed up, but the system never sent any email confirmations. You're basically taking advantage of a vulnerable population.
