    Since we moved into the apartment complex this company manages, we've had an unmanaged cockroach infestation for weeks, no A/C, and have been verbally abused by Lindsie and Lindsay who co-run this scam business.

    I have received a notice of a BBB complaint against my management company, RSG Property Management, that leases and manages property in the Grand Junction Area, including **** ******* ******* **** * (the property for which this complaint refers).

    The complaint focuses on 2 things: Cockroach Infestation, No A/C

    Cockroach Complaint: We had not received any other complaints of any bugs or infestation from the other 19 units in the 1225 Bunting complex, however we took this complaint seriously and had the entire property sprayed outside and also sprayed in interior of Unit 3.  The spraying took place within about 1 week of the complaint.  We have had no further complaints to date about cockroaches or other pests since the spraying took place.  Furthermore, the vendor who entered U3 to spray said the apartment was extremely filthy and cluttered.  This can lead to pest infestations and should be remediated by the tenant.

    A/C Not On: The property consists of 20-1 bedroom/1 bathroom units, each with their own roof mounted swamp cooler.  The complaint was made when winter weather was still being experienced (March/Early April).  We cannot put swamp coolers in service until freezing temperatures abate for the season since the evaporate water as a means to cool.  Turning on early would freeze up lines and damage coolers.  Therefore it is our policy to turn on all swamp coolers (at 1225 Bunting and other properties) during the first 2 weeks of May (putting coolers in service is happening right now, 5/1).

    I feel the complaint is unfair overall - we were quick to act on the cockroach complaint and having swamp cooler AC turned on when it is snowing/wintery weather in March and April is not reasonable.  Also, I take pride in my assistants (Lindsie and Lindsay) and their ability to provide exceptional customer service.  I apologize that this tenant in U3 feels as thought they have been verbally abused, but I have confirmed with my assistants that they have treated the aforementioned tenant with proper respect and customer service.

    If this Tenant would like to terminate their lease early, I would be to happy to discuss the details and work out a solution for early termination.  My number is ************.

    I have reviewed the response made by the business, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.
    Still a predatory company, and we talked to neighbors who all commiserate that Lindsay and Lindsie are horrible people that are incredibly unkind and definitely talk crap about other tenants.
