      I applied for unit on 5/8 approved on 5/10 and was supposed to move in on 5/11 however I specifically requested a garage detached or attached as stated on their website i was told we currently dont have attached garages but we have a detached garage avilable before applying. So I was find after getting the key to a unit I have yet to see I told you on a wait list for garage no problem I can wait however I was given a unit that barely as a living room no storage all the way on the 3rd floor for same price as a larger unit they aderviste on their website so I immediately ask to change unit they tell me theres no units available however their website show 3 available unit with garages and 1 avilable unit larger then the one I was given. I would to be switch to the larger 2/2 grand unit with detached garage which was told to be before applying. And my money back I have yet move and I have no respond from the leasing other then we dont have unit available yet their website allow me to apply and show the apartment number. It hasnt even been 24hr yet i have to pay 6 mth in apartment I never saw or wanted and im not even given a option.

      I signed a lease on Tuesday and its been an absolute nightmare ever since.No one will tell me when I can get the keys to the mailbox or the pool, which I dont believe is legal (the mailbox). They insisted that I would get them once I filled in the move-in review, but I finished it in less than 30 minutes and then was told the keys would be provided to me once someone reviews the form. Its been 5 days and no one is telling me when I get them. *** already had mail sent to this unit and Im not able to get my mail because the complex is withholding my keys. They didnt install drawer or cabinet pulls and wouldnt give me a timeframe on when they would be installed - kept completely ignoring my emails and would say well find out later when I was there face to face. 4 times to get an answer The unit was DIRTY - pet hair on the walls/mantle, ring of grime in the toilet, boot marks in the tub, marks on the walls, grime under the microwave and on every light switch, etc. In order to fix this issue, they made me email them pictures, but their server rejected it numerous times. They made sure to ask when my move in date was before I toured - later on I figured that this was because they felt like the unit didnt need to be ready for me until I moved in rather than when my lease began, as they told me none of this was an issue because I hadnt moved in yet. The tub had a pool of water that wouldnt drain - again, they wouldnt fix until I sent them a picture.When I talked to the assistant manager about the state of the apartment, she told me that usually the cleaners only focused on appliances, tubs, toilets, and counters. When I pointed out that almost every issue was with those areas, she cleaned many of those areas herself. While that was nice of her to do, it also informed me that she didnt read the majority of my email to her about all of the less (with, of course, pictures). She did let me know that apartments can be filthy because its normal wear and tear.

      In regard to the mail key, this has been available to the tenant since about an hour after her move in (we needed to move her into the system in order to give her this). We informed her that she could pick this up as soon as we had moved her into our system. We will also allow tenants to borrow their mail key if things are still missing in their file until they are able to get their own keys. She was also informed that a key fob would need to be made for the pool and other amenities and she would have this on Tuesday 7/23 after our manager returns to the office and can get it set up for the tenant. 

      The drawer and cabinet handles were installed the day following move in once maintenance had the necessary parts. The unit was not dirty. The inside of the microwave, refrigerator, freezer, oven, and bathtub was all cleaned. When the tenant mentioned that the bathtub was not up to her standards, we had an outside vendor complete and acid wash on the bathtub, and I personally went in to do a touch up clean on the bottom of the microwave. I did not find any issues with "pet hair on the walls/mantle" or "marks on the wall" like the tenant mentions above. The tenant was also never told that "filthiness" is normal wear and tear. In the event that the cleaning of a unit is not up to our standards, we will reschedule a move in by a few hours or until the following day until the cleaning is able to be addressed. As the unit was clean, we did not feel that this was necessary for this tenant. 

      We ask every tenant what their desired move in date is at move in to determine what apartments are available within their timeframe. Move in dates are calculated based on when the vendors (carpet cleaning, painters, and cleaners) as well as maintenance will have the turn completed following the previous move out. 

      The unit was up to our standards at move in for cleanliness and functionality, and none of the issues were major enough that they would have prevented the tenant from moving in.

      Our office has gone above and beyond in order to meet the satisfaction of this tenant, and it does not seem that even with all of her complaints being addressed that we were able to do that. Therefore, we will offer the tenant out of her lease without penalty.
