Extraordinarily disappointed in this companys treatment of my parents issues. We have been fortunate to find another company that has been able to identify the errors by ******** and get their services operating. I would not want this company in their home again. In the multiple failed appointments from ******* they have:* Turned off the water to a humidifier system when the tech left leaving the system inoperable and the humidifier fill light was red. * They installed the wrong kind of canister. We needed a low voltage canister to enable steam production. Blue Sky charged $515 for the incorrect canister when the correct was $265 *Charged $155 for one of the many ineffective appointments in which the tech did little more than cool his heels next to the **** system. Multiple visits by Blue Sky. System was never operable under their maintenance or repair.Blue Sky Plumbing & Heating, Inc.

As I relayed to the BBB: This response is anemic, at best. The fact that you cannot recall and want to take discourse around your problematic conduct outside the view of the public and the BBB is emblematic of your businesss operations. Hello *****. You had called to repair a broken toilet flange and requested a price be given over the phone. There are far too many variables that go in to a job like this and it would a disservice if we attempted to give any type of idea over the phone. We charge a fair dispatch fee to get a qualified technician out to the home to inspect the situation and provide you with an upfront comprehensive estimate and the dispatch fee gets applied to any work. This is no different than asking a mechanic to give you a price without inspecting your vehicle or a doctor giving you a price over the phone without seeing you. First 2 times we had Blue Sky out, no issues. Asked for an estimate to move existing plumbing to install floating vanity & replace a shower valve to single handle. Then made the mistake of asking for an opinion about future work. The estimator started noting many things were wrong, I asked for a full estimate, because one issue was concerning & wanted to present to my insurance. I was given 2 estimates, both too high for what I could afford. I was given a card about financing options. I thought this work NEEDS to be done & the one finance option with an interest rate of 9.99% seemed reasonable. I went to the link **********************************************************************************************. Tried the phone # (it wasn't valid) that should've been a clue, but a lot of numbers changed during the pandemic and were not updated, therefore I applied thinking the worst that would happen is I'd be denied. I clicked on "apply", was then asked to verify the last 4 of my ss# and name/address. I clicked "Okay" it asked for the level I was asking for. I copied from the estimate and next thing I know I have a credit card and a hit to my credit score. I called to cancel. I called, emailed and texted Blue Sky to make sure their link, at their website, was correct so this didn't happen to anyone else. Then I got the Credit Card with Blue Sky Plumbing branding on the card! It's a bait and switch. There is no financing. ****** learned. I'll wait the 6 months to a year for this to roll off my credit report. I also learned I panicked, I didn't read the estimate closely and note there was no values for the parts/labor/time, just a big scary number and I should've pushed back. I was the fool. It's an expensive ******* but one I don't want anyone else to have to learn.Blue Sky Plumbing & Heating, Inc.

We have spoken with ******** regarding her complaint. ******** did in fact submit an application through ************** by following the link on our website, we have also verified that the phone number works appropriately. Her comments made in this review are false and unfounded and we have done our absolute best to address her concerns directly. It's unfortunate that these acqusations were made and that the BBB allowed them even after reporting it but we assure any potential clients that our relationships with our financing partners are very safe and secure.Review fromElizabeth T

Extremely sadden and disappointed and I guess Im in a bit of shock as to why a company that fails to pull permits, and breaks literally all the customers appliances, can put the customers health at risk and then cancels their warranty, still has an A+ rating. I feel Blue Sky has some very unsafe practices for their employees and has some deceiving and misleading work ethics or their just incompetent and not necessarily skilled. However, they took advantage of a disabled Vet and people who are less physical. They knew we had to depend on their word, because my husband and I are not physically able to check their work, this is why pipes were left un replaced, the furnace was left broken, and I still dont know if I received a new water main or if it was just pieced together. They took total advantage of us and I hope this does not happen to another Colorado Consumer. Blue Sky cost me over *********, and the end result was they canceled my warranty because I complained on them for not filing for permits with our County.Blue Sky Plumbing & Heating, Inc.

BBB, thank you for reviewing this review as it is full of misinformation. Blue Sky has gone to extreme in trying to help our client with return visit after return visit to attempt to address her concerns. The fact is that Blue Sky is not responsible for the issues she is claiming. The building deparment manager with the City of ************* confirmed a permit was not needed for the type of work we performed. We replaced the water main from inside of a cave in the mountain behind her house, that goes around the back of the house and into the crawl space to the main water shutoff inside of the very difficult to access crawl space. From that connection Blue sky was contracted to replace all of the galvanized piping throughout the crawlspace which we did. We did leave some original copper piping that stubbed through the floors for each fixture for our adaptions to pex tubing. She called her hvac contractor that installed the furnace in the last couple of years to take a look at why her home would be getting so dusty. He found a SUPPLY duct disconnected in the crawlspace in the area where Blue sky did no work at all. The supply duct blows air and would not have resulted in "sucking" air into the home. The entire crawlspace is in very poor shape. The sewer is sagging horribly, the dryer is venting into crawlspace, ground water is soaking the entire perimeter and seeping into depths of the crawlspace causing sagging of supports. We found what looked to be black mold in the crawl space due to how humid and wet the area is and reported it back to ************* and offered to send up an mitigation company to inspect further which she denied. All of the work that Blue Sky perfomed for ************* was provided upfront, *********** explained and signed for. Blue Sky replaced a kitchen faucet as a courtesy after it got some debris in it from the work on the water main. There was no work performed inside of the home so we are unsure where the comment of breaking all of the appliances orginated from. It is unfortunate to receive this feedback after Blue Sky went above and beyond to try to address any and all concerns, many of which had nothing to do with the work Blue Sky performed. Once threats of litigation were made by ************* we respectfully stated that Blue Sky would not be returning to her home.Review fromLisa B

I would not recommend Blue Sky. I had a lifetime warranty on a hot water heater. They sold it to me & installed it, but would not be bothered when it started leaking. I called numerous times. I was told it was no longer under warranty. I requested a call from the owner, but never received one. The hot water heater did have a lifetime warranty; it was replaced by another plumbing company at no cost to me. Blue Sky saw no profit & refused to honor their past contract. In my eyes that is not the way to do business.Blue Sky Plumbing & Heating, Inc.

I requested a service and explained the issue with my pressure switch. They decided to send a plumber. The plumber didn't know what to do and said we needed an electrician. I was charged $119 and then they said I had to wait 3 days for the electrician. This was an emergency call because we had no water in the house. I called a different electrician and he came right away and fixed the electrical issue but still no water. We called a well specialist who charged me another $500 to just opened a valve that the Blue Sky plumber had turned off and left it like that without mentioning it. So this company cost me a lot of money because they sent someone who didn't know what to do.Blue Sky Plumbing & Heating, Inc.

Hello Dariely. Thank you for the feedback and we are sorry that the repair took multiple visits. These situations can be difficult to troubleshoot and you have to start somewhere. A plumber would always be the first place to start since you indicated the pressure switch was acting up. ************** was qualified to work on your system and diagnosed a wiring issue which would require an electrician. We certainly are sorry that our electricians were tied up and are happy you were able to get someone up to ************* in a timely fashion. Service was excellent:: prompt response to a weekend hot water problem. Professional, courteous, timely follow up. **** could not have been nicer in detecting the problem quickly and with his very competent follow through finding and delivering an unusual part. Blue Sky deserves the maximum top 5 star rating and I will always ask for ****, confident that h*** solve the problem. Tech was able to come an hour earlier than first scheduled, which I appreciated. He explained what he was doing, and why, in cleaning out a blockage in our kitchen pipeline to the main line. Tech was very professional and friendly, a pleasure to work with.Blue Sky Plumbing & Heating, Inc.
