      Hedge Fund Telemetry is subscription service about finance and investment. I paid for a full year subscription, starting November 29, 2022, and ending November 28, 2023. Total amount is $1000. My subscription was cancelled on October 17, 2023 but without pro-rated refund. I have reached out to the business but no response. I want the refund.

      Our firm has never recieved a complaint with the BBB.  This is a first and we will respond as this person is not due any refund.  Especially a prorated refund which we do not offer especially after the subscriber to our service canceled after 11 months of a 12 month term of using the service. When he canceled he was automatically taken off auto renewal and still recieved and had access to our work up until the 12 month term ended.  In our terms of service which this subscriber agreed to when he signed up for our service (one has to check a box approving our terms of service in order to subscribe). ************************************************  We also gave a refund of $250 in December 2022 when he added another service to his subscription with a limited discount of $250.  

      The first attachment is the ****** payments, the second shows the $250 refund we gave him, the third shows the 3 products he subscibed to and when he canceled.  It also shows he logged on to our site a month ago (it is 12/18/23 today).  The fourth is a clip from our terms of service where we do not offer prorated refunds especially after using our service for most of the term.

      I am rejecting this response because:

      1. I am requesting a prorated refund of the days when you unilaterally blocked me from 2023/10/29 to 2023/11/28. Not full refund of $750.

      2. The service started on 2022/11/29, which is shown in your attachment. The serviced ended on 2023/11/28, as you said it is a 12-month service. Please explain why I was denied access since 2023/10/29. The denial was proved by the attachment.

      3. The $250 discount was offered by Mr. Thomas Thornton when he was present as a guest at Blockworks' youtube series. It is a marketing offer, please don't confuse it with your ability to honor your terms.

      4. I paid another $250 for the extra service. I even didn't request the refund of that.

      We have refunded this customer $62.50 which is the prorated amount of one month he says he did not have access.  When a customer cancels a subscription, the subscriber has access up until the expiration date.  We do not offer prorated refunds (per our terms of service) but in order to move on, I will refund one month prorated from the annual rate of $750 = $62.50.
