I took my dress for Flavias to get altered for my wedding. She was responsible for the bustle and hemming of the gown. I had a few strange interactions with her during my appointments but didn’t think much of it. The worst being the day I was supposed to pick up my dress she never arrived and never called to cancel. When I finally got my gown I only walked a few feet from the fitting room to the mirror and all seemed fine. However, when I put the dress on on my wedding day June 3rd 2022 the more I moved I realized I couldn’t walk in it. Upon investigation we realized she never hemmed the under layers of my dress (a large ball gown) the attached pictures show the chalk marks where they were supposed to cute and never did. I did not have my phone on me at this time so my photographer took the photos. I just recently got them back and went to try and speak to the store owner. Saturday July 23rd she initially refused to take an accountability for the situation saying it was my fault because I didn’t notice when I first put the dress on. She was raising her voice and not being helpful, multiple times I had to ask her to calm down, she eventually offed $150 back out of the $450 I paid her even though she said the hem costs $375 and she only hemmed the top layer. I explained to her that wasn’t fair considering the fact she only did one layer and ruined my dress since I was forced to cut the under layers apart on my wedding day so I could walk. At this point she completely lost it. Kicked my husband and my self out of her store and threatened to call the cops/take legal action. She said I was an awful customer the whole time and made personal attacks on me. The thing is I wasn’t a bad customer. And even if I was, that does not change the fact that she did not do a large portion of the work she was paid to do, attempted to deny any wrong doing, and then proceeded to try and refund under the amount of work paid for. I have not gotten a dime back and was screamed at by her.
