Our client, ******* ********, placed *** Patrick ********* account with our office on January 30, 2025. After reviewing *** ********* complaint, we have outlined the following:
On 1/30/2025, an initial communication was sent to *** *******. On 2/18/2025 we contacted *** ******* by phone to discuss the balance due. He responded by stating that he did not believe us that a balance was owed and then hung up on us. On 2/21/2025, our office was informed by our client, ******* ********, that they were in the process of billing the insurance. On 3/5/2025, *** ******* contacted our office and stated that he had been covered under ***** since November and believed the claim should be submitted to them.
At this time, we are awaiting insurance processing. Once the claim is adjudicated, we will follow up with *** ******* accordingly.
In response to the complaint, we can confirm that there were no false claims regarding the balance owed. Additionally, no improper or misleading statements were made, no demands for upfront payment were made, and no excessive calls were placed.
We hope this information helps to resolve Complaint ID# ********. Please let us know if any further details are required.

This involves my doctor at the time. Services provided by my doctor was back in 2020 and 2021. I now remember those visits. It wasn't covered by insurance because I did not have medical insurance. I think I paid something since I finally found permanent employment. I think I received some calls from the business that I am complaining about. It's been over 3 years and many other visits to my new doctor and hospital emergency visits. I must have had talks with ********* ********** which was the old doctor about some way for me to pay them back. Covid happened and other situations as well. Now after a few years I received a bill from Credit Center LLC. Not sure what this was for I called yesterday, 4-30-24. The lady that I spoke to told me it was Dr. LaFlamme. The doctor visit was in 2020. I never denied that visit but that after all these years I have forgotten about it. I am still paying off other hospital bills. Her tone of voice I do not appreciate. She spoke to me as if I were a child. Scolding me. That's when I got angry and said a few choice words and hung up. Why have they waited 3 years to collect their money. This is very suspicious. Because we know how doctors are in this country. Entitled and money hungry as they are. And so are business that work for them. I just was talking to this lady to get some answers. I don't need a mother I already had one! Since I don't trust these businesses I would like some paperwork from ********* **********. I would like to see how much I have paid.

    Hello-

Thank you for sending complaint ID# ********.

I have pulled the telephone call from 4/30/2024 between our office and Ms. ******* *******. Our collector was nothing but professional and even toned. Ms. ******* ******* called our office after receiving a notice from us, inquiring about her balance due. We advised of the balances due, the doctor's name and the dates of service. She stated she didn't know about these bills. We advised her that we sent numerous notices, left [6] messages and spoke to her in 2021 about these balances. She claimed she didn't have the telephone number that she was calling from and that she only had the number for a short time. We let her know that the number she was calling from is the number that was attached to her file when the account came to us in 2021 and was the same telephone number, we left messages on. It was at that point that Ms. ******* became agitated and swore at the collector, and that is when the collector said "Ok, you have a nice day" and ended the call.

At this point, she is out of the validation period, so there is no requirement for us to send her validation of the debt, however if Ms. ******* *******, would like to further discuss this balance due, we are more than happy to assist her and do what we can to help her resolve this.

    Thank you,

    Credit Center, LLC

I also want to inform you that if there are any negative marks on my credit reports from your company or any company you represent, and it is for a debt I do not owe, it is against the law. I am rejecting this response because:

I have never had any account with you and this alleged account is falsely reported on my credit.

I received an alert in May that my credit report had 2 accts in collections, each for 30 dollars. So, I filed a complaint with ******* with the reporting agency on 5/16/2022 to disputes both accounts as these were paid in early March. This is my dispute Confirmation #**********. I then received notification that the agency (******* ****** ***) "verified that this item has been reported correctly" I then reported a second dispute on 5/22/2022, Confirmation #*********** This time I attached proof of payment with a copy of my cleared check which I have also attached to this complaint. Again, I received notification that the agency (******* ****** ***) "verified that this item has been reported correctly" which is clearly a lie as I attached proof of payment. It is evident this agency lacks ethics and honesty. Had they done their due diligence they would have not reported a false claim considering I had attached proof of payment. I also feel this is an infringement on my "Human Rights and Opportunity" as this impacts positive growth for myself and my family. I do feel if my name would of not been of ***** ***************, this company would have taken A MOMENT to truly verify such a negative statement on my "ME". Which leads me to this present moment of filing this report, it bothers me to think that this company wrote "WE HAVE VERIFIED THAT THIS ITEM HAS BEEN REPORTEDLY CORRECTLY". It irks me that "verified" was written without supporting documentation on their behalf. This is not Okay. I can only imagine the countless others inconvenienced by the incompetence and lack of effort from this company. I do plan to file a complaint with *********** Commission on Human Rights and Opportunity as this is ridiculous, that such a minor thing can stun my growth on future opportunities. It a callous thing for this company to report inaccurate information as "verified" (without documentation) and not put to thought of the negative repercussion bestowed on people

We are in receipt of Ms. ****** *********** proof of payment. However our client ********* ********** needs to confirm proof of payment. Upon receipt of supposed proof of payment, Ms. *********** account has been marked with a request for deletion with the credit reporting agencies. Once the client advises if these balances are paid or not we will reach out to Ms. ****** ********* and advise of such. In the meantime all Ms. ********* had to do was call our office, as we would have been happy to assist.

    Thank you,
