Sensible Auto refuses to allow me to pay off my loan. They accepted several payments from me and then refunded them because they didn’t want me to pay off my loan. Now they are making me wait for the payments to be refunded to then repay my loan through a certified check, even though they already have the money.Business response

Sensible Suto has inaccurately reported my account wrong for years. I've disputed it several times with ********** and they told me they cannot remove it because the company says it's accurate. It was an auto loan that was paid off in full by my insurance company. The last time I disputed it they told me it was a charge off because they waited a month to get a payment from the insurance company. It was never a charge off. I've asked for all the paperwork to the account and they are refusing to supply it to me. They are refusing to report to the credit reporting companies accurate informationBusiness response

Sensible auto turned my car off due to not having a insurance binder now they are unable to start it back I’ve complained to everyone no one has did anything they’re basically telling me it’s up to me to figure out from this point. I’ve been out of a car for weeks now because of something they did. I can’t even get to work because of this. Now they’re just letting payments build up because I refuse to pay for a vehicle that I cannot use because of them. This is my first car and thought im just now getting credit they are ruining everythingBusiness response

The vehicle was disabled because the account was greater than 30 days past due. Validating insurance coverage on the vehicle was also an issue. Sensible attempted to assist with a payment plan that was not follow through.
This case was reviewed by our Customer Service Department on 2/23/2022 and a technician from the GPS Company was sent to diagnose the issue. It was determined that the GPS was not the issue by a certified technician.

My name is ******* ********, a federally protected consumer and I am filing this complaint against SENSIBLE AUTO LENDING for violating a Cease and Desist notice they received on 02/12/2022 and continuing to invade my individual privacy by committing abusive deceptive, and unfair debt collection practices by reporting inaccurate erroneous information to my consumer report. Pursuant to 15 U.S. Code § 1681b(a)(2) I'm aware that a consumer reporting agency needs the written instructions of I, the consumer, to furnish a consumer report. Without written instruction from I, the consumer, SENSIBLE AUTO LENDING has committed fraud by using my identifying information without lawful authority to furnish information on my consumer report. I have never given SENSIBLE AUTO LENDING my written lawful authority or permissible purpose as required under 15 U.S. Code § 1681b to commit fraud by furnishing this false and misleading information to my consumer report and violating my right to privacy. Upon reviewing the account, I noticed SENSIBLE AUTO LENDING is reporting inconsistent dates & balances across the nationwide consumer reporting agencies, which constitutes as inaccurate reporting. In addition, SENSIBLE AUTO LENDING is reporting inaccurate late payments in the two-year payment history. (See Attached Documentary Evidence) The status of this account reporting as a “Charge-Off” pursuant to 7 CFR § 1956.54, is inaccurate reporting due to the simple fact that for the account to be “Charged Off”, a 1099-C had to be filed. If a 1099-C is not applicable, then this account is NOT a “Charge Off”. I have submitted a CFPB complaint and you have been put on notice that you are reporting inaccurate information. The continued reporting of this inaccurate information is a clear violation of 15 U.S. Code § 1681s-2 of your responsibilities as a furnisher of information & 15 U.S. Code § 1681e(b).Business response

I’m a co signer of a car. We got the loan from sensible auto in CT. We have made payments on time for over 30 days. Me being the co signer shows no indication from sensible auto on my credit reports. They have not reported to them. My account is *************Business response

Since the loan opened on 12/01/2021, effective 1/06/2022 the tradeline is currently reporting for 1 month.
