This place is a joke. We enter during Covid and the handbook we signed said our score to pass was a 70. This we signed. They decided to send out 2 more handbooks in which we DID NOT SIGN but expected us to abide by those rules but that was two weeks after we received the first one. Then we barely had good teachers, went to clinical sites and did nothing what so ever. I seen this school pass people who can’t even take a BP blood pressure. But the money they gave out to some students more was given to staff in the office. This school collected millions of dollars and do not have enough teachers to teach the course. I would never recommend this school To anyone.

STONE ACADEMY ********* **! Stone academy has false advertisement. when you sign your contract and they get your money they change your contract whenever they feel like it, and you have to go by the new contract even though that is not what you signed up for. When I first started stone academy in 2019 we needed a 72% to pass our classes . I went to school in the middle of a pandemic and my important classes were moved to online where one of the teachers never showed up for the most Important class which is MEDSURGE 1,2 and 3. I was forced to teach my self and that is not what I paid for I paid for on campus classes not online. In 2021 they changed my contract and I was forced to sign the new contract st***ng the grade was being changed to a 74.7 % from a 72% and that if we fail the exit for a second time we would have to come back to the school for a third exit before we can take our ***** even though I did not agree with it or I would not be able to sit for my boards. I failed my exit for the second time so I completed the 12 week **** course that I was told I had to do and I passed the **** exit with a 76% my. *** instructor told me I have 3 weeks to take my ***** exam or my greenlight will expire so then I went to stone academy to take my exit and received a score of a 74%. I am being held behind from taking taking my ***** for a .7%. I reached out to numerous people in chain of command and I am getting absolutely no where . I would like for them to grant me my old contract which was a 72% so I can take my ***** before the 20th .

Unfortunately, due to educ***onal privacy laws, Stone Academy is unable to fully respond to this complaint.  However, Stone Academy respectfully disagrees with the complainant.  There were no false advertisements and there were no surprise changes of which students would be unaware.

Stone Academy’s policies allow for the changes mentioned by the complainant, and this is clearly stated during the enrollment process.  The student handbook and several documents signed/initialed at enrollment as well as when there are significant program changes acknowledge students’ awareness of Stone Academy’s right to make amendments.

Stone Academy offers students additional support throughout their engagement with the school and additional testing opportunities are available when policy allows.

The complainant should contact the school to understand additional opportunities available to assist.

      Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because: my contract should have not been changed when I was 2 years into the school. I had no teacher for medsurge 111-114, and stone academy still pulled my loan. I completed **** (***) and passed the **** greenlight exit and should have been able to sit for my *****, but you changed my contract and forced me to come back to stone academy for a 3rd exit which I failed by a 0.7% since you changed my passing score from a 72 to a 74.7 and I received the grade of a 74.0%. The only resolution you are trying to give to me is to complete medsurge 111-114 and sem2 when medsurge is not my low point. That would not benefit me at all .

      Sincerely,
