  Ted is an expert on outside drainage. He proposed a solution and it has worked perfectly. His rate is very competitive and his team does a neat and clean job. Totally recommend

  For over 30 years our family has enjoyed the extraordinary services of TJB-INC. We began with lawn maintenance and snow removal. But after about ten years we decided to convert what had been an in-ground swimming pool into a koi pond within a water garden complete with two waterfalls and a couple of stone bridges. Ted and his son Rob were extremely creative in approaching this work and the results are extraordinary and of the highest quality. In fact, people passing by our home have stopped and asked our permission to come over and admire our landscaping, which of course we are very happy to grant. More recently Rob has elaborated on our landscaping by building up a rugged, almost alpine path behind our pond. Also worth mentioning is the thought and care that Ted and Rob put into the selection of plants to add to our landscaping in such a way that we have various colors being manifested throughout the seasons (we live in New England). Finally, Ted and Rob are extremely reliable in their responses to specific events (like snowstorms). We value their contributions both to our aesthetic lives and to our peace of mind.

  Ted is amazing. We had a complex problem with excessive drainage onto and under our driveway and garage following what seemed to be the crushing of a drainage pipe during work with heavy equipment (not by TJB). Several people came out and looked but Ted came on a cold, gray early winter day and not only looked but diagnosed parts of the problem on the spot and even before we hired him, he made a couple of quick fixes that helped a bit. He was pleasant, polite, knowledgable, and generous with his time and information. His proposed solution seemed to make more sense than what others proposed, and his price was not the lowest, but it was not even close to the highest. The fix needed to wait until the spring, and he came back this spring and created a swale, regraded the area, and fixed a low spot. He also dug two small drainage ditches and removed a lot very tangled invasive non-native plants. His crew could not have been nicer or more accommodating. I can't recommend Ted and his gang enough!

  TJB is one of “the best” companies I’ve had the good fortunate to find who have a wealth of knowledge and expertise to address drainage issues, among other things. The quality of their work is top notch. When something reoccured after an entire day and evening of heavy rain, they were here the very next morning. They will always get to the bottom of things, no pun intended, no matter what. Ted and his son Rob are dependable and trustworthy and really care to get it right. I highly recommend them without hesitation. Thank you Ted, Rob and Glen.

  TJB-INC was hired to backfill and grade an excavated area around a cellar bulkhead and correct the improperly installed drainage piping to an exterior sump pump (also installed incorrectly). We tapped into an existing "working" pipe that went to a dry well that the client had hired a different company previously to install for her. It rained the night after we completed the project and the client had water in the bulkhead again. The client called and TJB-INC came back the next morning to investigate. We found the "working" pipe the previous contractor who had been hired to install along with a dry well to collect downspout water from the roof gutters had left a screen in the intake pipe that had clogged causing water to back up and cause the flooding. TJB-INC used our submersible camera to scope the pipe to discover and locate the clogged screen. We had to dig up the buried drainage pipe to be able to correctly remove the screen and clear the system. TJB-INC left the client with a working system and no more water in the bulkhead!.

  I am a homeowner who consulted with TJB-INC about my yard drainage issue. Their years of experience made all the difference. The solution they designed completely solved the drainage problem, and was very affordable. I highly recommend TJB-INC.

  Thank you for your kind words. I know you had other commission based contractors who wanted to sell you very expensive solutions. I am glad we were able to come up with a simple solution that was cost effective and could be done by you. Take the money you saved and go on vacation!
