Had my car towed to VIP on 6 because the car would not turn over. The car was diagnosed with a bad alternator, new timing belt needed, spark plugs needed, and transmission flush. I left the lot with the car and instantly noticed the headlights going from bright to dim. I called and they said to bring the car back in. I brought the car back in and they again tested the alternator. The alternator was bad. They sent me on my way while they ordered a new alternator. I brought the car back in when the part came in and they changed it out again. I left the lot and everything seemed fine. The next day I turned on the lights and they went from bright to dim again. I called back and was told that there was no way two alternators could be bad and I would need to bring it to a Hyundai dealer. In the mean time the car has now completely died. Hyundai ran tests and sure enough the battery was dead and the alternator was bad. I spent $1800 dollars at VIP on 6 to have this fixed and now here I am needing to spend another $1200 plus to have this fixed correctly.

My husband, ****** ***, went to VIP on 6 to buy a car. There was a ****** *** that was for sale for $4,999. After a test drive my husband decided to buy the car. The car needed a new windshield and the exhaust needed to be fixed, so the owner, Mike F*****, told my husband that those two things would be fixed before we picked the car up. After three weeks, my husband was notified that he could go get the car. I was not with him when he went to sign the paperwork and pick the car up. My husband brought the car home and he discovered that the rear right window had an issue. He could get it to go down, but it would not go back up. The car dealership fixed it. The problems did not end there. I discovered, after reading the paperwork that the dealership charged us $6,800 for the car. We have had to bring the car back 4 times because th engine light keeps going on. The car is presently at the business because the catalytic converter has to be replaced. We left the car at the business because we didn't want to keep driving back and forth. We have been told by the owner that they are having trouble locating a catalytic converter for the car. We have a printout of the work that has been done since we bought the car. I will also include a copy of the contract. I believe that this car should have been fixed before it was sold to us. I don't understand How anyone would sell a car with so many problems. I wonder if the mechanic is actually doing the repairs in a proper manner. If a car is hooked up to an analyzer why arent't all of the problems fixed?

05/12/2022 ***** had issues and brought to VIP on 6 tfor diagnosis. Determined to be stretched timing chains. Had replaced by mechanic who used ******** parts. Work finished by 06/10/2022. Cost of visit around 2500$. Car ran as expected until 10/04/2022. Same symptoms as last time with the timing chains presented itself. Had vehicle brought back to mechanic. Was determined the parts from ******** had failed and stretched and needed to be replaced fully warentied parts and labor. Also any cost for rental vehicle would be reimbursed as well. Parts were replaced and engine was unable to be turned over. Was determined that when the timing had jumped this last time it had caused the engine valves to bend and seize the engine. Was strung along with month after month of lie after lie was told engine was purchased by ******** and waiting to be installed at one point. Communications were only if I was lucky enough to have someone answer. Only to be spoon fed lies. February 11 finally went down in person to get answers and was told that ******** lied about all promises they made and were no longer willing to do anything about the loss engine. Mechanic then stated that the money was certainly not coming from him since all his investments went into a gym recently. Was told I was on my own and it was now my problem and he would try to give me a good deal on labor if I now wanted to purchase a new engine. I am now without a vehicle that was completely running before this failed part ended everything. Over 5000$ in vehicle rentle was spent with false promised reimbursement. I need help and I also have receipts from mechanic and receipts from all rentals.
