My catalytic converter was replaced, however I was given an aftermarket one. My insurance paid $3661 and I paid a $500 deductible. The converter is now having issues again as it is not the right size for my vehicle. And Team Mitsubishi is no longer open. I have reached out to other branches and they say they can’t help me because it was under Team Mitsubishi. Now I have to pay full price for something that was done incorrectly by them. It is also not the first issue I’ve had. My car was towed to Watertown from Hartford due to not having any staff.( I did not have a car for over a month while they kept it in a garage.- I needed a new transmission which was also covered under warranty).Initial Complaint

On May 8,2024 my vehicle was in a accident and total. On May 2024 I cancel my warranty on my vehicle. I went to team Mitsubishi on 3 occasions to received my refund, on the 3 time I went to team Mitsubishi, they gave me a form to send to another ******* ******* ******** with a sticky note stating that the dealership is going out of business and are unable to refund customer. This is all in the month of August and September. I call ******* ****** and they stated they did what they supposed to do and they faxed the form to team Mitsubishi, they needed signatures from team Mitsubishi, and team Mitsubishi have 30 to 60 days to response, this form was fax to Mitsubishi the beginning of November. No response. This been going on since August. Please help to resolved this. Something is going on with this car dealer.Initial Complaint

When I purchased my car almost 2 years ago, I had a warranty for free oil change and it seems like this company is either out of business or temporarily closed. A month ago we went and the service center was closed but there was to guy in shop room we told them we’ve been trying to schedule a service because our car say I need service and they said that they were revamping their Employees and that they should be reopening in November here we are in November. Our car needs service no one to change our oil or service our car now we’re gonna have to take it somewhere to pay for something that we should be getting free is part of our package. I purchased a 2022 Mitsubishi ********* on 6/21/24. As part of the purchase they were supposed to provide me with registration. they gave me dealer plates and said the registration would be forthcoming. I have left over 15 calls with these people asking where my registration is. I purchased the car more than 3 and 1/2 months ago and nothing. I purchased a vehicle from Team Mitsubishi on July 19th and traded in my vehicle that we still owed money on. One thing to note was they only provided us one key as I was finalizing the sale and when we asked for another, they told me they would rather cancel the sale of the vehicle then provide us another key. The second issue was them providing me the vehicle with wheel locks, but not the key. On two separate occasions they had me come down to the dealership to pick up the key, however it was wrong both times, leading me to have to schedule an appointment for them to break the wheel locks off. Another major issue is that as of 9/20, they have still not paid off our trade in. I attempted to work with the dealership who initially told me they sent the payment, only for me to go to the dealership a week later and find out they never sent it. They then told me they overnighted the check, however after speaking to the bank, it was found they have still not paid it off weeks later. The bank has advised me that they have sent a non-payment notice to the credit bureau which is going to affect my credit. I try calling the dealership and they don’t answer the phone or no one is available to help us with our issue.Initial Complaint

Bought 2018 ********* sport for 16,000 With lifetime free oil chanyes, I have already had to put on 4 Brand New rotors and brakes within 3 months of buying the car. Then I then I went to sign up for my oil change and they told me they were suspended. It is in my contract that I have a lifetime free oil changes. I purchased can on 8/14. The sales associates name was Jacob. When I purchased car I was told that I would get free oil changes for life. The car I purchased had a cracked windshield and Jacob assured me that he would schedule and appointment for that to be fixed and it would be at no charge. I was also told that they would handle the registration of car with *** and that when my plates came in they would contact me and they said that would take about two weeks. I purchased the car on 8/14 and they put dealer plates on the car. I have called numerous times and reached out to Jacob on the status of my plates, scheduling an oil change and getting the windshield fixed. My attempts have been ignored. Last week I spoke to someone and I was told that the company was in the process of new ownership and any previous agreements would be void. I spoke to someone yesterday who said that Jacob would need to request the new windshield because he is the one who promised it to me, I stood on hold for Jacob to come to the line and he never did. I would like my $500 I put down back because I feel like there is sketchy behavior and there is no reason why I cannot make contact with this dealership. I spoke with *** and they asked for the vin number of my car and I was informed that car was not registered to me and no paperwork was received from the dealership. When I purchased car I paid for the delearship to take care of registering my car and getting my plates. I paid for that service and it was not done. I was told that someone by the name of frank is in charge but the employees refused to give me his number and the employees didn’t know his schedule. I have called several times and my number is taken for a call back and no call back comes. I get the the run around everytime I call and I continue to be told company is being sold and multiple employees were fired and they are unsure how to help me.

Team Mitsubishi: A Masterclass in Automotive Mischief If you're looking for a car dealership that specializes in shady deals, malfunctioning lemons, and customer service colder than a December wind in **********, then look no further than Team Mitsubishi. My recent experience with them was a masterclass in automotive mischief, and I wouldn't wish it upon my worst enemy (unless they drive a *****). Previously Stolen with a Present of Problems: Let's start with the little detail Team Mitsubishi "forgot" to mention: my car was previously stolen. Not exactly confidence-inspiring, is it? But hey, maybe it was just a youthful indiscretion, right? Wrong. This car was a rolling dumpster fire of trouble disguised as a vehicle. Warranty? More Like "War... I Don't Care-y": When issues inevitably arose (because, of course, they did), Team Mitsubishi's warranty transformed into a flimsy piece of toilet paper. They brushed me off faster than a fly at a picnic, leaving me stranded with a car that could barely decide if it wanted to move forward or spontaneously combust. Safety? What Safety?: Speaking of combustion, let's talk about the time I drove off the lot with no brake lights. Apparently, at Team Mitsubishi, optional extras include basic safety features. Thankfully, I have ninja reflexes and a healthy dose of self-preservation, because if I'd relied on their shoddy handiwork, I might be writing this review from a hospital bed (or worse). Broken Glass & Bad Vibes: And the fun doesn't stop there! My new (well, used and previously stolen) ride came complete with a bonus party favor: a pile of broken glass glittering ominously on the backseat floor. Because who needs cupholders when you have a built-in confetti cannon of danger? Engine? More Like Ene-meh: But the pièce de résistance was the engine. Requested purchase agreement For original purchase of vehicle that has since been totaled out and for insurance purposes original paperwork is needed to complete the claim. Called requested the documents and gave more than 10 business days allotted. Now they are saying that they may not be able to find it. On May 22, 2023, I visited the Mitsubishi dealership in ******** ** to get my vehicle checked for a recall on the 2012 ********* model. My first grievance was the dealership had incorrectly scheduled my appointment for a different day although I had confirmed the appointment via phone. While there I was approached by a sales agent to trade in my vehicle for a newer model, which I eventually leaned into. I eventually found a car I liked and we completed the paperwork, I was then approved and signed off on the car. Both the manager (Mr. Michael B******) and I signed a bill of sale. I was later told that a staff member wanted the car and that it was purchased. The same car was however listed in their inventory for sale as well as online. I was quite confused by this assertion due to the bank approving a loan for this specific car with the VIN number when the dealership claimed that it was already sold. Following the assertion that the car was no longer available, the manager then made himself scarce, and the car was awarded to the staff member while the staff celebrated in front of me. I've never felt so insulted and upset at the same time. The way Team Mitsubishi conducted business today was very unprofessional. They pulled my credit and requested my personal information to sell a car only for it to be taken away in an instance to appease a staff member. My desired resolution is for this hard inquiry to removed from my credit report as I would not have authorized for the credit check if the car was sold.
