I placed a few orders with PHNC at the recommendation of their internal holistic coach, but my dog continued suffering even requiring hospitalization. While I wish their herbal treatments worked they did not. Some made her sicker including nausea, discolored stool, etc. I returned the supplements that made her sicker including paid postage and the company is refusing to refund even though they have the return. They clearly do not care deeply for animals as their mission states.

    Hello,

***** ******* first reached out to us for an email consultation regarding her sick dog on July 28th, 2023. At this time ***** explained that her dog had recently begun presenting with yellow colored stool, diarrhea intermittent with blood, copious amounts of mucus and an exceptional amount of fur loss. She had been told her dog's ultrasound showed gastritis with unknown cause, a swollen pancreas and swollen stomach lymph nodes. This she discovered from the ICU she was hospitalized in at the time she initially reached out to us.

After discussing her dog's symptoms, she stated "Looking back she did get sick after we let her have food out of the fridge and it may have been bad as our other dog showed minor symptoms".  She went ahead and ordered a number of supplements from us which she placed this very same day - 8 items. July 29th she ordered four more items (our pancreatitis package).

Because her dog already had pancreatitis and gastritis, she was using milk thistle when she came to us. This is in support of the liver as a congested liver is often associated with pancreatitis and liver/pancreas problems can cause yellow stool which again, this dog had prior to using any of our supplements. When pancreatitis is present the body has a tougher time breaking down fats and nutrients which is why high fat food items can cause all of the above symptoms in a dog with pancreatic stress. This is also why it would make sense her dog was presenting with these symptoms after eating possible bad food from a fridge.

Mrs. ******* requested we share what we would recommend to help support her dog's body's ability to heal from its already existing gastritis, pancreatic inflammation and additional health issues.  She was sent a response including a recommendation to change the food, as well as supplement suggestions in addition to the items she already had ordered on her own to address her dog's health - I recommended to give it a month and then reach back out so we can revisit her dog's status. On August 11th she reached out letting us know that the food change along with the supplement change had normalized her dog's bowel movements in terms of color and consistency. She also told us that her dog's major hair loss had stopped, and that her eyes no longer looked to be sad or in pain. At this time, she did however note that her dog was still struggling with the nausea and stretching - both incredibly common with pancreatitis in animals. Healing is not linear and can take time, just as it takes time to develop an illness.
On August 30th ***** reached out to our customer support specialist to notify her that she had returned four supplements from two separate orders, two unopened and two opened. We have a very liberal return policy and offer refunds on the smallest sizes of opened items returned within 30 days even though we cannot reuse or resell them.

On September 11th ***** reached out to let us know she had been using a number of our supplements, one being our pancreas glandular and told us her dog's stool had normalized in both color and consistency, hair loss had stopped, and abdominal bloating had reduced. Acid reflux symptoms were still an issue here and she was told that a gut imbalance had been confirmed via Animal Biome test.

With regard to the most recent return, these items were widely outside of the time limit of our policy. While we honored the other returns, all three of these opened items were two months past, and too far from the original purchase date. Two of the three supplements were returned to her, and one supplement was refunded.  We dedicate our time and efforts in assisting sick animals all over the US and in select areas outside of the states. We offer free email consultations, communication and ongoing assistance. We absorb a portion of each order's shipping cost and offer endless support and knowledge. Our primary mission is supporting the body's own healing potential in a natural manner and do everything we can to support an animal's achieving his or her best state of health possible.

I bought their Respiratory Tonic for Dogs and it made my dogs sick. 2 days later I asked for a refund. Only used a small amount. I paid over 50.00 for 4oz. They have a return policy. I asked to send back for a refund and they told me I had to pay return shipping plus they would only refund 2oz instead of the 4oz. This company is a rip off. Their product made my dog sick and ripping me off for the refund. Want a full refund. Their products need to be investigated.
