    I had hired this general contractor to complete a section of basement with contract in hand. contractor required to obtain all required permits and complete job to comply with all inspections and meet CT state code requirements. contractor did not pull the appropriate permits for job..has not had any inspections completed and the job does not meet any state requirements. this job must be demolished and recompleted in its entirety as its a water hazard and a fire hazard not to mention all permits and inspections must be completed. there is now water damage in my basement

    Has nothing to do with me Have him contact O&S I simply gave him the bid. He is a con artist I gave him bid for labor only. He ******* sub contractors out of *000. He wanted the best rate I informed him labor only 9,000 he was responsible for everything else materials and permits inspections everything. After the work was started he contacted O&S and requested for them to obtain the permits they agreed to get it from city hall and charged him the city hall fee. Nothing more. He was responsible for the permits getting approved and inspections he then was informed to stop the work by the building department because he did not get appropriate permits he told the sub contractors to keep going and took full liability for any consequences they finished the work and then he told them thank you for finishing and I am not going to pay you the remaining balance. He wanted his basement completed for free and tried to use verbiage on the contract to force O&S to complete permits inspections and other requirements at no extra cost. They will not work for free especially for ******* you thinks he can ***** **** hard working people.

    You are Alan o**** ******. You were paid for the job as the checks are clearly made out to you. You ARE THE COMPANY. I DID CONTACT THE APPROP PARTY. Undenyable proof was provided. If u hired subcontractors to do the work, that is out of my control. I did not pay them, I paid you.
