1 starBe Careful of This Dealer !! I purchased a 2023 GMC Sierra 2500HD Denali from Brustolon Buick-GMC in Connecticut on 1/27/24 They posted there GMC Denali having 8,100 miles…When I arrived it had 9,960 mile The Denali also had paint damage in the left front door jam from someone’s shoes…I had to repair when I got the truck back home to **…I have great credit and asked the finance team to get my auto loan through teachers federal credit Union…They ended up hitting my credit score 4 times and got the loan through Capital One at 8.91% on real Now on 1/2/25 I go to a local dealership in ** to trade this truck in that I got from Brustolon and and I’m told they don’t want my truck it’s not worth more than peanuts on the dollar because they sold me illegally a truck from ******!!!! The warranty does not transfer from ****** to the states… I’ve called Brustolon dealership to get to the bottom of this…I’ve asked to talk to sales manager and everyday they say he’s in a meeting…I leave my name and contact information and he still hasn’t called me back… I only got called back by the salesman that sold me the truck that does not have the authority to address this serious issue for the dealership This dealer sold me a vehicle with a NON transferable warranty . This alone is illegal . Period . Now they will take no responsibility / no communication!! This review is the first of many and I am not the only one with this issue ! This issue has cost me 10k and made it impossible to trade in the vehicle . I will be contacting Better Business Bureau and the Connecticut Attorney General office for vehicle Fraud . Be careful with this dealer !!!!Review fromRafael R

1 starMade appt w/Cynthia was asked what year/make/model my car was. When husband & son arrived @ appt they Joe said he had no appt. Other guy sticky note said the car had a failed emission test. Joe said since you do not have an appt it would take a few days to get it diagnosed. Husband said it had to be today. Filled out appt form the other guy was very rude & he left. I contacted the dealership & spoke to Cynthia, owner. I explained the mistreatment received she said 4 him to return that they would take care of him. They returned asked for Cynthia she said sorry for the inconvenience. If it was for a **** ***** ** *** * **** **** ******. The rude one said you have to fill out another form because you took it with you. He said no that he had left it there. A few minutes later he takes it out of desk. Cynthia told him diagnose tell him the problem/ price. Joe called him said it was oxygen sensor diagnosis was $188.00 & total $520.00. He agreed even when he had replaced it prior thinking it could have been defective so he said ok. He said he could not guarantee it would pass. I went to pick up my car & asked him for a diagnosis data form he said he could not give him this because it was a Ford car run it a few miles. He did emission test failed again. A few hours later the check engine light turned back on again. He called Joe he said bring it in now. He said he could the following week when he dropped it off & was leaving he saw them checking the car in parking lot with just OBD II handheld coder. He went inside and asked this is the diagnosis for $188.00 an OBD coder. The SM said yes & then said the car received another code, now a P260 & this was another charge. He said you said this was all the first time now it is something else. He refused & asked for data diagnosis. They wrote the code's price in pen, the replacement part, cost nothing else. Employees were unprofessional, rude & discriminatory & fraudulent. Car-still will not pass emission test. ****** *.Review fromJoseph G

1 starWe bought a brand new Buick envista 2024 in march of 2024. We noticed 2 random dents above the passenger and driver side door. We had no idea how it got there so we asked our salesmen what to do. He said to email Cindy the owner to explain our situation as we have purchased cars there in the past. After our email she told our salesmen to call us and that she wasn’t going to do anything and that we had to pay 500 dollars to fix the small dents. We were extremely upset as he told us the bad news. The fact that she didn’t even call us and made him do it tells us a lot about the management at this dealership. Also I discovered we paid 2000 more for the same exact model than at other dealerships. This place cons people and just plain do not care. Let’s just say we will never come here again and advise everyone the sameReview fromStephen K

1 starYou need to think twice about doing business with this dealership and sales person Arvy S*****. This sales man is extremely pushy and cannot backup anything he’s says or promises. I traveled a good distance to buy a truck from them. The night before my appointment with the sales man Arvy I wanted to know how I was going to get new plates for another state that I live in and drive the truck home that day. I was told and promised that my old plates of a lease vehicle could be transferred legally for 7 days and within those 7 days they would go to the registry and get my new truck registered and plates sent to me in time. On the 7 th day I was stopped by the police because the plates on the truck didn’t match what I was driving. I was told not to drive the truck past that day or it would be a criminal offense plus the truck would be towed. I called my salesman right away and updated him on the situation. He told me he’d look into it and take care of it. Well after not being able to reach him the rest of the day I had no choice but to rent a car to get back and forth to work. The next day my assurance company and my self made many calls to the dealership the didn’t know where the paper work was or the status. I told my salesman I had to rent a car and asked if the would help with the cost of it. He replied we will cover it. Fast forward a week later still no word from my salesman but I did get a call from the store’s General Manager Al Asking me to explain the car rental charge that was on his desk. I thought this is very poor business asking me and not his sales man. I was told this wasn’t the dealership’s fault and there was no way they would cover the cost even though he him self told me when I was signing papers the day I bought the truck that the registration would be taken care of asap and sent to me. They might be all smiles and want your business when you walk in but after the sale you are ignored and forgotten. What a horrible experience !Review fromMel F

2 starsWe traveled to Brustolon from ** because they had a great selection of used trucks. We found one that we loved and were ready to buy, but ultimately walked away due to their shady finance tactics. We purchased a truck the next day from ***** in ** because there were very transparent and treated us respectfully.Review fromGretchen W

1 starPSA Yesterday my husband, the kids (and their carseats) and I test drove a truck at Brustolon Buick GMC . We talked with the salesman and by the time we left, we weren't fully committed. However, by last night my husband messaged the salesman and told him yes we want it, and told him how much we were going to put down and asked for the numbers so that we could finance the rest accurately. The salesman said OK. This morning, my husband was messaging with the salesman and told him we have the cash, the financed portion and we'd be there today. Mean while ANOTHER SALESMAN SOLD THE TRUCK right out from under us. My husband was told by the salesman, "well we said no holds this guy was here and you weren't". Obviously upset, my husband called back to talk to the manager, and was told whoever gets pen to paper first this guy beat you. We now have two forms of payment made out to this awful dealership and we're basically told sorry about your luck. I've worked many different customer service jobs including for the government, and I know this is NOT how you treat a customer. So PLEASE SHARE MY POST. I would hate for this to happen to anyone else. If both the salesman AND manager share the same business plan, I'd hate to see how the owner conducts business. Oh, also if you choose to NOT finance with this dealership, the car price goes up $1000 for a nice little cherry on top. May the odds be ever in your favor Brustolon BUICK because you sure don't care about the customer.Review fromLaura M

1 starAbsolutely HORRIBLE experience with this dealership. I called on Monday about a car to make sure it was available before I drove over an hour to see it. I was told it was available and then a few minutes later I was told it wasn't available and that it sold on Saturday. Now it is Wednesday and all of the listings are still online on several sites, including the dealership's own website. So I call and ask if it's actually available and am told yes it's available, when would I like to see it. 30 seconds later I get another call saying the vehicle was NOT available and in fact sold on Monday (the day I called in the morning about seeing it). So I said why was I told it sold on Saturday if it sold on Monday and if it sold then why is it still listed everywhere as being available? They said the original guy buying it changed his mind and then changed it back later on Monday. So I asked if he wasn't buying in when I called then why couldn't I see it and why is it still listed as available? The MANAGER said it's still listed because the car hasn't shipped yet and they hadn't received the money for it. Obviously I then asked, then how am I suppose to know if it becomes available again if it's still listed as available now, but it's not? He rudely said that's how they do things and it's definitely not available. Can you say SKETCHY? It seems like they just didn't want to sell the car to a woman. Or maybe just to me, not sure why since I've never met any of them and simply asked if a car was available as advertised. So we have lying salesmen, false advertising, and likely discrimination. Not surprised there are so many other bad reviews and they have an F on BBB. Save yourself the headache and don't bother with this place.Review fromRosalinda L

1 starAbsolutely one of the worst places of business I have ever dealt with the financial manager of that facility is the most disrespectful unprofessional individual I have ever dealt with in my life. I have never dealt with anyone in business who has ever spoken to me so disrespectfully and on professionally when inquiring about a charge that my Business partner was told she absolutely would not have to pay not only did he say to me over the phone that I bring nothing to the table he was completely on aware of the fact that her and I are business partners so the money that he is trying to scam, my business partner is absolutely unacceptable. Not only did I call very professionally. I asked a simple question to why my business partner was going to have to charge our business account for a service that we had already paid for twice before and had made it very clear that we did not want to spend that money again, not only was I personally told that I bring nothing to the table that he does not need to speak to me, he does not care about who I am and where is my business partner she said she was on her way. She needs to hurry up and get here. He never even did what he said he would do. Not only did he lie to my business partner and then rob her for the service that she told Will be handled is appalling within itself. I will never suggest this place of business for service to anyone especially my clients.Review fromSean C

2 starsThis is the email I sent the dealer. To be completely honest with you, I did not have a great experience buying from you or Brustolon. While on the test drive you never asked how I liked the vehicle and only had me drive it less than a half mile down the road and turn around to return to the dealership. That was the shortest “test drive” I have ever been on. Then when your finance manager and yourself had me bouncing back and forth that was also ridiculous. Then you and I had an appointment last Monday between 10 and 1030 am and when I walked into the dealership you had a customer you were speaking to at your desk. I was waiting in the waiting room for 23 minutes and you told me you told the finance manager I was there for him and when I asked him he told me you never told him I was there. Then to top it off the truck wasn’t ready like you said it would be at 1030.If it wasn’t ready you should have called me in the morning and told me. So I had to drive and come all the way back for 215. Then when you were trying to do my registration I was videoing you grunting, huffing and puffing the whole time. I ended up changing my address on my registration myself this morning so I am all set with what ever you were trying to do. But that was a bad experience I had buying with you and Brustolon. If there is anything I miss understood about my experience feel free to express that to me but it was a headache to do business with you.
