On its website the business states "We guarantee your satisfaction," "Rest assured that once you order from Scott's Flowers Inc, we guarantee the freshness of our flowers with our Freshness Guarantee," and "Your satisfaction is our top priority - our Same Day Flower Delivery Guarantee offers a 100% satisfaction guarantee on all of our flowers, gift baskets and services." According to the BBB Code of Advertising, when using the term guarantee, the advertiser must clearly and conspicuously include a statement that the complete details can be seen prior to sale. These details must disclose any material limitations on the guarantee. Advertisers should only use “satisfaction guarantee,” or similar representations in advertising if the seller or manufacturer refunds the full purchase price of the advertised product or service at the consumer's request. The business did not respond to BBB's suggestion that they add the terms of their guarantee to their advertising and if their policy does not include a full refund, that they consider modifying these statements.
