I had a Bilco metal Bulkhead installed in 2022 and painted it because it was primed a short time after it was installed. It was painted with an expensive paint for rustproofing a couple days after install. I looked at it about a month ago sometime in March of 2023 and found rust on the outside left corner and inside the left corner. After calling many times and all calls went to voicemail. I found the customer service email. The customer service sent me an email stating the 5 year limited Warranty excludes damage close to the coast. They tell me to grind re prime and paint it again. I replaced the original Bilco door that was installed 2003 and lasted until the replacement date in 2022. I had a Bilco from when I built the house in 2003 and painted it every couple years and it lasted until the replacement in 2022. That lasted more than a year! ***** *
