We had 3 bathrooms (at different locations) and 1 kitchen renovated by Mainville Construction & Remodeling LLC. The contractor was called back several times for repairs. After the one year warranty was up, we starting having major problems. Every bathroom was leaking into the basement, tiles starting coming popping off, the kitchen sink fell out of the granite countertop into the cabinet below. We are a non-profit organization, funded by the state. It took us 4 years to received approval from the State of Connecticut to renovate one of the worst bathrooms. The contractor doing the work thought that the bathroom had been in place for 30 years. Water was leaking under the tile, rotting the subfloor in the shower. The drain was not properly connected. The fan was vented into the attic instead of outside. Pressure treated lumber was used inside the home. Floor joists were cut. There is black mold covering the wood. The lists go on. We are now going to have to replace all of the bathrooms. I am only leaving one star because I have to have at least one.

We certainly try our best to be responsive to any issues that any of our customers have. Unfortunately, we were never contacted in order to make good on our work. This project was completed in 2015. We were only contracted to install new pans into the showers that were to have multiple occupants at the same time. We had brought up the issues with possible flex in the flooring but were not given permission to remove and install new flooring joists as this would multiply the expense of the project out of range of affordability. We completed the work and had it inspected properly. We were informed about the issues only when our insurance company reached out to us to inform us there was a claim. We also offered to pay on the claim if liable, however the insurance company conducted an investigation and it was closed with no incident.
