In 2020 by contracted with natural lawn care for One season, I was quoted a price and I paid in full. The next year I received a bill; however, I had not contacted the company to establish a new contract and decided to go with another company and not with this company. The company continue to send me bills I contacted the company multiple times asking for the owner to contact me so we can talk about the miscommunication. I let them know I did not wish to contract with them nor use their services which is why I had not contacted them to establish a new contract. The owner did not call me back after multiple request for him to call me back they continue to send me bills. They told me it was an automatic renewal, I asked them to show me a contract that I signed agreeing to this clause and they could not due to the fact I did not sign one. After multiple phone calls bills and general harassment after me calling and asking them to please stop and have the owner call me so we can put this to rest it was brought to my attention that they put me in claims and caused a derogatory remark to show on my credit. My credit score plummeted 31 points and I am now not able to secure a mortgage. I need help I do not know what to do. I do not owe money to this company, I chose not to renew my contract because I was not completely satisfied and that is my right. I paid that contract in full and completed the contract that was agreed-upon.

BBB, On 5/27/2020 **** did sign up for service and pay in full for the year.  We sent **** out a service agreement which we do for all of our new customers and in that service agreement it states that our service continues from year to year unless you contact us and cancel.  There is also a sticker that we put on the front of each service agreement that states the same thing.  Each of the four invoices that she received during the 2020 season says the same thing in the middle of the invoice.  Then on 1/15/2021 we sent out a letter with updated pricing and it says the same thing in the first sentence.  Now I did call and speek to **** in September of 2021, and the reason she gave of why she is not paying for the service was that the technition did not show up to her house that day.  Then she went into that she did not sign a contract, then she went into that she did not contact us and that she did not know that the service continues from season to season.  **** has been a customer on and off since 2002, and we have been stating since then that our service continues from season to season.  I am sorry that this might have damaged her credit.  If she pays the bill we will contact the credit agency and try to get it removed.
