They make it almost impossible to cancel your membership. Stay AWAY! I’ve emailed back and forth now 6 times “you can’t cancel over the phone” You have to talk to someone overseas who barely understands you.

Salesmen will tell you if you move away, you can cancel your annual membership at no additional charge. However, ABC Fitness, the actual company billing you and handling your membership contract, requires that you move MORE THAN 25 MILES away from the coverage area of your local gym and that the Fitness Club can instead of canceling your membership, move your membership to another, similar gym to continue holding you ransom for a third rate gym experience. You'll never be able to cancel your membership unless you pay them their outrageous $400 annual fee. All Edge Club Fitness Clubs are very "gym-bro" gyms anyway where they have more room for salesmen's desks than they do equipment, they're more about fake supplements than real fitness, and for whatever weird reason, the toilet doors have frosted glass windows on them instead of actual stall doors.

I was insulted by a manager and spoken to in a insulting and degrading manner and when you try and resolve the issue via the email you are given no one bothered to contact me to try and resolve the issues

My credit card changed and I decided to let my membership with them end instead of update my card info. Instead of cancelling my membership when the card declined, they began charging me an additional $25/month declined card charge on top of the monthly fee. What a greedy despicable money grubbing policy to not just cancel the membership but instead have a whole song and dance about how the business is the victim and should be compensated. Disgusting.

Beware! Requested a cancellation from this gym with a written doctors note and both times I sent in this request both times my request was rejected. Do not waste your money and time joining this gym because should you ever need to cancel it for any reason be prepared to get rejected, aggravated and frustrated. I've been going back and forth with them for 3 months now and still can't get this cancellation done with a PCP doctor's note and a sports medicine doctor note as well.

Moving and they are telling me I can't leave. After a lot of fighting, I have to bring a note that says I am moving as if I am in the first grade. I have given them two years and was told when I signed up that I had to give three months. The gym is mobbed all the time and you can't get on machines. The management staff knows nothing and tells you different stories. It is none of their business where I am moving. I would give them zero stars if I could

I contact this gym in Dec with a doctors note I emailed to two people including the gym mamager. I let them know that I was unable to work out due to a broken foot. I was told twice to they would pause my membership. Jan I was once again charged and when I call they tell me they can't refund the charge. That all they can do is pause and extend it. That helps them not me. They said they would see what else they can do I have not heard a peep back from them.

In today's world, it is disheartening that the pursuit of health and wellness is not always accompanied by a sense of fairness, particularly for women. Every individual, regardless of gender, should have the right to feel safe and secure in a gym space without the burden of unjust scrutiny or additional financial strains. It is fundamentally unfair that women often find themselves in an environment where judgments and disparities exist. This gym should be a space for empowerment and self-improvement, not a place where one's gender determines the cost or level of comfort. It is high time for a cultural shift that ensures equal opportunities and treatment for everyone in their journey towards physical well-being, fostering an atmosphere where individuals, regardless of gender, can focus on their health and fitness without unnecessary obstacles or biases. Appaling to know that I and many other women have to pay 10.00 more per month to do so. For this reason, myself and many of my friends refuse to join.

Every time I go there I get harassed by front desk when I am working out with a family member who is 15 years old. They constantly ask me if he is paying me to train him and that I can not train him be cause it looks as if I am a paid trainer taking away from their staff. I also realized that when other people in the gym do the same type of training they never get talked to or asked to stop. I have been asked to stop while others have been doing the same type of training right across the gym. I am a person of color and I am irritated by this issue I have no issues at other edge fitness locations. This and also other issues with the staff have been going on one time the payment from my account wasn’t taken my account and the person at the front desk was very rude and disrespectful announcing that I missed a payment to sounding gym goers. Some of my friends has also had similar issue at this facility. If I keep having such issues I should be able to cancel my membership.

I attempted to cancel my membership and they told me my cancellation was successful, I'd have one more payment of $31.98, and would be active through the month of November. I checked my account and they charged me $49.99. I emailed them and asked why, and they said they would refund me and nothing further was due. I was then charged $31.98. I sent them the email from their account stating nothing further was due, and they said per my contract (that I've been out of for 3 years - I signed a 2 year contract back in 2018 and have just been going month to month with no commitment), I owed this payment. I will be disputing the charges with my bank and blocking them from my account, as well as never return to their club.
