    On 7/25/2021, I signed an agreement with Quality Paving to to have my driveway re-done in which $800 paid as deposit on the project contract total cost of $6,500 to the contractor on that day. On 9/3/2021, the contractor started the project by removing existing blacktop, regrade, and add base material as needed in which $1,500 paid to the contractor on this day. 11/16/2021, contractor returned and completed the job by adding hot mix bituminous concrete and compact blacktop finish. Contractor was paid $4,200 on this final date of completing job. Contractor did guarantee warranty the work based on the type of material. Early December 2021, I noticed a section in front of the garage started to retain water whenever it rains. I have reached out the contract several times via calling contractor's cell and office phone numbers, leaving several messages during month, but contractor did not stop in to look at the issue. Contractor did return call in late in December and January stating they can't do anything to the driveway because it now too cold and would have it fixed when it started to warm up. Late March and into April, I reached out to vendor again who stated they will cut out asphalt in from of driveway and have it re-done. In May, I called again and contractor stated they are very busy. However, I am assuming the contractor is giving me the "run around" and have no intension of fixing the issue. As of today, there are loose asphalt on the driveway and potholes are on the driveway. I would like for the contractor to fix this issue or return funds so another contractor can fix it. I did receive another quote from contractor for $7,600 to have it fix because contractor will not repair a newly renovated driveway.

    Kevin spoke with the homeowner on 8/26/2022 in response to his complaint and told him that he would be out to inspect the problem.  After reviewing pictures and the complaint a repair will be done.  Homeowner stated he wanted to discuss with his attorney before allowing us to look at the issue or fix the repair.
