    I dropped off four (4) rims with tires and four (4) new tires for mounting and balancing. I was told it would be fifteen dollars ($15) per tire and a six dollar ($6) tire disposal fee. So, $21 per tire plus tax. When I picked them up I was charged forty ($40) each plus tax totaling $170.16. I was shocked and asked the tech that was checking me out why the price difference from this morning? He stated ' my Boss charges extra to people that bring their own tires.' I asked to speak to him and he was not available.

    I have questioned our tire technicians on this sale.  No one in the shop remembers quoting this customer $15.00 a tire for mounting.  Our standard pricing is $20.00 per tire mounting & balancing fee WITH a tire purchase, $40.00 WITHOUT.  This customer brought in his own tires.  We charged $40.00 per tire and no tire disposal fee at all (which is $7.00 per tire not $6.00).  Our technician remembers ringing out the sale and said the customer made no mention at the time that he was dissatisfied with the purchase. He is welcome to give us a call to discuss this further.
