I bought a *** last month from this company and the permanent plates have not arrived yet. After calling the dealership they gave me the run around that they were doing whatever they can to help. Waited hours and did not get a call back. After calling back myself... They then told me that they cannot issue new temp tags although this one is expired. How does that make any sense? Are they going to be paying the tickets that I receive as I have to use this car to get around? I paid for the tax, title, and licensing and after taking my money they cannot hold up on their part of the deal. I do not see why they cannot issue and overnight ship me a new temp tag as they are should be required to. I know they are able to get new temp tags. Do they not want to do the extra paperwork to make that happen?Business Response

Yet it took me a day of calling back and forth with some lady who had no clue what was going on. Thankfully after the third to fourth call Ralph knew what to do and was able to look into it in less than 5 minutes. What still bothers me is after finding the issue that it was held up because of an insurance card why were we not notified if you were able to find this information so fast? How long was it sitting needing that information to be processed? Just a lot of run arounds and excuses to be honest. I'm glad it got figured out, but the diligence just doesn't seem to be there.
*Also currently cannot drive that car as of tomorrow because of this issue that could have been avoided completely had the dealership been on top of it. Why pay for tax, title, and licensing if when something goes wrong you have to be the one to figure it out because the people you paid to do it can't... Hopefully the plates come soon since you have all of the information you need now. Thanks.

I am rejecting this response because:Ralph said it needed an insurance card last Saturday (1/17/25) and that it was a final step and the plates would then be sent Monday or Tuesday. We're now at 1/27/25 so 10 days later still with no plates. You said it was rectified within minutes yet I still do not have my plates. So was it really rectified? I am on a business trip currently and need to have the car be drivable when I got home on Friday 1/31/25. You can't give any excuse at this point regarding other things when its almost been a month and a half of no plates. You already dropped the ball once. What is the hold up now?
Sincerely,

For the 5th time the registration is in process with your state. We are not responsible for how long your state takes to register your vehicle. We sent out all docs within a reasonable timeframe. Stop harassing us on BBB! Your state is backed up on registrations, not a Wiz issue.Initial Complaint

Bought a 2013 BMW *** **** ****** from Wiz Autos in either March or April of this year. Bought the car as is and no prior damage or issues were disclosed. The car fax came up as clean but recently had an insurance claims adjuster inspect the car and tell us that the car had evidence and records of involvement in accidents. Besides the undisclosed accidents, the car came with a mutilated exhaust (pipes were duct taped together and hanging by threads), loose timing chain, several leaks, and the dealer advertised the car having a full 4-door locking security system. I later found out that the rear left door does not lock no matter what and once I had gotten into my own accident, I unfortunately found out that the airbags do not work. I am curious as to what I can have done about this as I feel we were scammed in some way. Accidents undisclosed, falsely clean ******, up to the airbags not going off when I got into an accident, and the security system being faulty, I think we could at least get some form of compensation.Business Response

Thank you for the opportunity to address this complaint. Vehicle was purchased on 05/11/2024 not by the complainant. Vehicle was serviced and inspected by our service dept prior to purchase. Vehicle was advertised with factory options that the vehicle came with. There were not complaints from this customer since purchase and passed ** inspection. We disclosed a free ********* report at time of advertisement and you had an opportunity to have a third party inspection prior to sale which you declined. We are only privy to what resources are available to us and we disclose them upfront. Again, no prior complaints from our customer and it passed their State Inspection as well as ours. If the timing chain had an issue it would have been covered under the extended warranty you purchased. Please feel free to have our customer reach out if you have any questions regarding service on your vehicle. This vehicle is 12 years old and was in good working order at time of sale. Thank you.Initial Complaint

On 12/24/2023 I purchased a 2018 ******** **** *** from this dealership. I finalized all necessary paperwork with the dealership on that date. About a week later I heard a loud noise coming from the car. Whenever the car turned, I contacted the dealership several times and received no response. I drove there and met with a supervisor who suggested it was the control arm and no big deal. After weeks of contacting their service department. My car needed work; they new it upon me buying it. The car was initially covered under a 60-day warranty, but they continued to provide coverage until they no longer had to. Finally, I reached out to the warranty company, but there were still lights on the dash, and I hadn't even had the car for 6 mo. I am going to be contacting ** ***** *** and an attorney. When I received paperwork from the ***, I should've known that the paperwork was incorrect, not to mention my car is black, and on the registration, it says it's red. I was put off until the 60-day warranty was up. I brought it to a shop to learn the car needed a rear shift differential. There, they no longer were held liable to fix it, as they told me. On 12/28/2024, my car was vandalized and considered a total loss. My ***** has yet to be paid out or covered by gap insurance because the finance company has never received the title to the car since last year. We (*****, ****** *** and myself) have been trying to contact the dealership for over a week and, at this time, are only receiving voicemails with no response. Next, I will be seeking legal representation to file suit against this dealership for selling me a lemon and not forwarding the title to the finance company In ***********, a dealership must send the title to the finance company within 30 days of the vehicle registration date. I am also due a refund for the purchased warrantiesBusiness Response

The repair facility that worked on my car but didn’t fix it had my car for 4 months without being able to fix it. My car was sent to another repair facility without my knowledge after I made them aware that warranty said I could have my car fixed elsewhere. I was quoted $596, plus tax that I’d only have to pay for half of the tear down of the car if nothing else was needed. My car was finally fixed and running 10/29 but I was given a different total due in the amount of $2448.71 which I asked to be clarified for me and still hasn’t. I would just like my car back because it’s been 6 months.Business Response

This customer had picked up their vehicle and paid for it in full. They not only have a copy of their itemized bill but it was explained in great detail multiple times. I thought this complaint was resolved when the customer met with our Foreman.Customer Answer

The issue had not been resolved and I’m continuing to have issues with Wiz Inc. due to them not replacing a missing pier from the driver’s door hand and a piece that was removed somewhere in my car and they just left it in the backseat. Also my heat nor ac is working after getting the car back. They said they would fix but on the day I dropped I off the foreman Samson did not come to work. I called back last week and they asking that I pay a diagnostic fee. I don’t feel I need to because the faulty work is why my heat is not working. I’m an anemic and shouldn’t have to drive a cold which could lead to other car issues. They really ******* ** **** and I just wish I could get some help have this looked into.Initial Complaint

I purchased a used 2016 *** **** ****** from Wiz leasing on 6/29/2024. Vehicle was purchased with a we owe which included a passenger side lower bezel, and passenger reflector. After 20 days with no contact I called and couldn't get anyone to talk to me. After I made 4 calls the salesman I bought the car from answered and he agreed to help make it right. He kept in contact with me letting me know the parts came in. Then he told me they sent out the parts to me, I've waited for over 2 weeks with nothing. I expect better when you hand someone 20k for a vehicle.Customer Answer

The dealer quoted one price $8833.00 after in-house financing and charged a higher price $9997.00, offering financing then utilizing my information to finance through a third party, without my knowledge. promised to make repairs to the interior of the vehicle and failed to document the repairs needed repairs on sales agreement. The dealer did not provide a written document for my review and failed to explain additional charges on the contract prior to signing. Charging for services they did not intend to provide. Conducted them self in a less than professional manner. Rushing me through a process with out clarity. ultimately causing my a financial loss.Business Response

We stayed 45 minutes after closing on Saturday to answer any and all questions about your purchase. The price is clearly marked on your sales documents as $8833. I showed you that your were purchasing it with a savings of over $2000 behind the book value. I also printed the value for you prior to your signing and you thanked me for doing so. Myself and ******** told you to take your time on deciding. YOU said, I am good lets continue with the purchase and thanked us for being patient. As far as the tear in the seat, we have sent it to the upholstery shop first thing this morning as promised. The shop was closed on Sunday. Our promise was to send on Monday which we did. Not sure what the problem is, please come into the dealership to discuss any issues you might have.

2/26/2020 - purchased 2017 *** **** from Wiz Autos 5/24/2023 - car stalled on the side of the road, towed to Wiz Autos dealership 7/2023 Wiz transferred my car from their dealership down the road to their service dep. 7/23-8/23 Samson who serviced vehicle could not find the issue. 8/31/2023- samson finally found issue with power, replaced the fuse(open recall) and stated he had to get car *** to "unlock vehicle" I called samson and was told it was coolant leak into catalytic converter, I asked him if we should leave the car at *** so they can fix issue, Samson told me no, he should fix the car as *** would overcharge me, I told him I would reach out to him that monday to let him know. 9/2023 called Samson, finally able to speak with him after few days of calling, and was told he had the car which I never authorized. requested an estimate on how much it would cost, told me one of his servicemen will send me the cost. I contacted *** dealership asked for estimate from the time they had the car, it was $2800 for converter Received email from Wiz autos regarding cost of converter which was over $5,000 I asked how could the cost go from $2800 to over $5000? told me it is what *** would charge. I sent him the email to prove *** was only charging 2800 for the part and service he then told me "If *** can fix it for less, let them fix it" I asked cost to pick up the car, he said over $4,000 for the work they've done, I asked him to send me a detailed estimate of the costs, both parts he fixed were part of recall so I sent my documents over to *** corporate, they stated parts were never fixed on my car. 1/2024 contacted ******* *** to pick up car as they will not release it to me. Was told me wiz autos is charging 1600 for everything. 1/26/24 - ******* *** picked up my car for $1600 not $4,000, my credit is ruined, and I don't have a car! They lied to ******** ******** ****** ** ** and stated I told them I couldn't afford 1600 to have car fixed. They are scammers! .Business Response

I purchased vehicle from Wiz on September 22, 2023. The complaint I have is mostly with the leasing department. My salesmen, Antoine, had told us their finance charge was about 8%, I called both my credit union and bank and was told their rates were about the same. Since you received a discount of $749 if you leased from Wiz we decided to just go with them. When we were approved, and went to pick up the car I asked the interest rate and was shocked to find out it was 11%. I explained the salesman said it would be about 8% and was then told “Oh, the salesman doesn’t know anything” as I had already sold my car, I needed the vehicle right away and took the loan for 11%. We expressed also at that time we absolutely did not want any vehicle warranties of any kind, as my father is a mechanic and would be doing any repairs should they be needed. I assumed this business was acting in good faith, and we flew through the signings. A few days later while going through the paperwork I saw a warranty for Protection Plus was slipped in with a cost of $299. I did not want or need this warranty. We called Wiz and after some back and forth they said they would issue a check for $299, we called after not receiving a check after 10 days, and told them we would come in and pick it up, Scarlet said they don’t issue the check and it takes 2 weeks to refund. It has now been over 3 weeks and no check. There were also several other issues that I won’t go into at this time if they honor the $299 refund.Business Response

Thank you for the opportunity to respond.
Sales Professionals are not Finance Managers and are not equipped to speak with customers on financing for privacy reasons. They can give you ball park estimates on rates and terms but all of those important financial conversations are done in the Business offices with trained Managers for compliance. You were not sold a warranty, the $299 is a optional theft protection for 5 years with a $2500 benefit if your vehicle is stolen. This benefit must be offered at time of sale for compliance. The rate you were given was based on you purchasing a 2014 model ($1600 below retail), that being said you may refinance with no pre-payment penalty as discussed on delivery. You were brought into finance on two separate occasions to discuss options and opted for the $749 discount that we offered. We are not in the business of rushing signing and we are very thorough when it comes to the matters of finance. There are many levels of optional protection that we offer our clients to protect their investment. I will have cancellations reach out to process your request.
Customer Answer
Date: 11/07/2023
Does “having cancellations reach out to process request” mean you are refunding the $299? As I have insurance for theft I did not need any other form of protection. Neither box “accepted or declined” has been checked nor was explained when signing in which case I would have declined. As stated I expected a good faith transaction. For the record, I did not speak to anyone in finance until the day of signing. I would assume sales people would advise to speak to finance rather than give a false idea of a rate, although that is not the complaint in this matter. If you are going to refund the $299 I consider this acceptable and closed.Initial Complaint

On July 31,2023 I purchased a 2018 **** **** ******** from wiz leasing inc. on the August 3rd the engine light comes on and the drivers side axle start to make a lot of noise. I called wiz leasing and speak with Catherine and she ask me when can I come in and I told her if Saturday which was the 5th of August and she said it’s ok. When I went there I was talking to John and and Ralf join the conversation. I told them about the axle and the engine light . He said he’s going to let one of is worker take the car for a drive. Before he did Ralf whet to the car with an electronic device and told me it’s an misfire and he cleared the engine light. He told me it happened when they was washing the engine. I asked if it’s ok To drive and he said yes and if the light comes back on bring it back and they will fix it. On August 16, 2023 the engine light comes back on. I called and Catherine answer the phone and told me to make an appointment on line. Which I did and the earliest appointment was on august 19 2023, at 9 am . When I get to my appointment the gentleman check the computer and said they don’t have any appointment in the system for me. He ask me who makes the appointment for me and I told him Catherine give me the link to make it on line . They refuse to give me an appointment. I have to went to the shop myself and speak with the manager and he told me to bring it in after the holiday which was September 4 , 2023. He calls me and told me the head gasket needs to change. Until now wiz leasing refused to fix my car and it under there warranty.Business Response

Customer did bring car in after purchase for a clunking noise. I verified complaint after driving with customer and ordered axel. There was no check engine light or mention of it at this time. Vehicle was brought in for repair when the part came in at no charge to customer under our warranty period as promised, no mention of a check engine light neither from customer or service tech on 08/15/2023 with 93,166 miles. Vehicle brought back in 09/05/2023 for check engine light. This is vehicle was driven 3225 miles in 35 days and is out of warranty period with no previous history of a check engine light. Vehicle was diagnosed with a head gasket issue and even though the customer drove vehicle for an abnormal amount of miles in such a short period we offered to pay for half of the repairs in good faith even though the customer didn't purchase the extended warranty at time of purchase. Customer agreed to pay for half of repairs. Not sure why he is making a complaint. now.
