Submitted an *********** **** application on Aug 26, 2022 at 10:12 AM EDT, email from Capitol stated loan was under review for pre-approval for 5-7 days. The email from Capitol stated, "By submitting your application, you have agreed not to begin any work until you are in receipt of a loan commitment." this was an after the fact statement that I did not agree to. It's been 427 days with no contact of any kind from Capitol. The company online portal does not display this application.

On 10/10/23 I applied for a heating loan via Capital for Change. On 10/12/23 I received a denial notice due to late payments to **********. To date, I have called and spoken with several agents at Capital for Change as well as providing a document from ********** stating that I was on a payment arrangement and my account is in good standing. I have explained through multiple phone calls and emails that the payment arrangement due dates supercede the statement due dates and therefore my payments made per the payment arrangement were not actually late. On 10/16/23 I provided Capital for Change with the direct line to the ********** supervisor that issued the letter I previously sent. To date, that supervisor has not been contacted. On 10/20/23 I provided Capital for Change with the email address that they could request additional information about my ********** payment plan and to date, Capital for Change has not sent any request for additional information. Meanwhile, my application for a heating loan to replace a non operational furnace remains denied until Capital for Change can get additional information on a payment plan that I made and completed with **********. Yet Capital for Change has seemingly made no effort to get this additional information even when I've provided contact points and methods for doing so.

Capital for Change has been fraudulently reporting to the credit bureaus since 2018 that I am financially responsible for a property which I do not own. Today, 5/26/2022, after many years of calling and emailing this company I was informed that two people had purposely gone above and beyond to defraud ********** and make sure this property remained in my name. After speaking with Annette S******, a company representative 5/26/2022 at 10:50 AM she confirmed that their company had received the Quit Claim Deed in 2018 relinquishing any and all ownership of said property in my name. She also verified that Janellie G*******, a supervisor and Gary C***** a director of Capital For Change decided that I should still be financially responsible for a property that I did not own and would continue reporting to ********** despite knowing I was no longer the owner.

Capital For Change, Inc. (C4C) has been reporting this loan accurately, and there has been no fraudulent activity on our part during the time this loan has been under servicing with us. I have attached a copy of the original Note and Mortgage, which clearly reflects that *** ******* is jointly legally responsible for this loan. I have also attached a copy of an email that I sent to Ms. ******* in December 2018, in which I spelled out the details of why her name cannot be removed from the loan, as well as how the quit claim deed simply transfers ownership of the property and doesn't eliminate her obligation towards the debt. Unless or until this loan has been paid in full, C4C will continue to report monthly loan status and data to **********, and Ms. ******* name will continue to remain in that submission.

I applied to get my roof fixed through capital for change back in July. I sent them all the necessary people work. They reached out to me multiple times saying that they were missing paperwork I sent them the paperwork again. Talk to them about 2 weeks ago they said my roof should be fixed by April. Then last week the underwriter reached out to reached out to me and told me that they ran out of funding and my roof is put on hold. It's been almost a year my roof should have been fixed by now it's not only a problem but it's also a health concern because The ceiling over the kitchen cracks and the stuff falls into the food. I've explained this to them that I've been waiting almost a year and now they're telling me there's nothing they can do. It's very unprofessional That I've been dealing with them for a year now through emails Now all of a sudden I finally get a call saying they're out of funding something's not right. Please help me get my roof fixed.

      To Whom It May Concern:
We are in receipt of complaint #******** for ******** *****. Ms. ***** did originally apply with us back in July 2021, but failed to provide the required paperwork to receive a loan exception approval. She did recently re-apply for the emergency loan product, but again had not yet submitted all the paperwork needed to move forward. Unfortunately, we were notified by the state that the program currently lacks funding availability, so we are not able to move any applications forward for the program at this time. This is a fully state-funded product, and as previously stated to Ms. *****, it is always subject to funding availability. We have placed her on a waiting list, and once funding becomes available again, we will reach out to her to assist. As she does  not currently qualify for any other programs, we do not have an alternate option for her at this time.

      Thank you,
      Kristen F****

Received a postcard what was sent out 5/3/2021, regarding lowering payments on your home. This postcard was sent out by ** housing finance and serviced by Capital For Change. We mailed in the application with all the paperwork need on 5/7/2021. After several phone message left and emails for Kristen and Lenny from Capital for Change with no returned calls. I called and left a message at ** housing on 9/3/2021. Ms. J****** called to let me know she would get in touch with Kristen. On Sept 10 2021 we received the Borrowers Certification and Ackowledgement to proceed. Which was emailed back to them 9/12/2021. The rest of the paperwork was mail certified to Kristen and received 9/20/21. After several phone calls and emails I still have not hear a word and it is now 10/25/2021.
