    I haven’t stepped foot inside this gym since before COVID, yet they continue to charge my credit card monthly and refuse to stop charging me. I’ve called multiple times and they say I owe $63 so they’ll continue to charge me until I pay a debt I don’t owe. I haven’t been to this gym in years, surely their computer systems can tell them that, yet they are completely unreasonable.

    I am requesting my membership be closed down as requested two years ago and close out debt of $1,064.67 that they are now charging me after cancelling membership during covid and request refund of charges for the past two years. They have sent a notice to collections that I was unaware of for the $1,064.67 which I don't know where this came from. They kept charging my checking account after sending a letter of cancellation, calling to cancel, went in person to cancel, and I took all the steps to cancel this account. I moved over an hour away from facility, lived in ******* time of membership and moved away an hour during covid. They kept charging my credit card after numerous attempts to close my account out after I moved. I canceled my charge card and they charged my new charge card without permission. I called again when the new charge happend and they said as long as I used the new card they could get the information and charge my card again. This happened numerous times with my bank in which I can provide proof is needed by the bank. Now they are ruining my credit with collection notices and want more money after charging my account a few thousand already. This facility was closed during covid and they kept charging me after numerous attempts to close account. Sad they have to take advantage of people this way, especially during time of covid and unsettled economy times.

    I keep receiving unsolicited text messages from the business regarding joining a gym membership. I have requested several times already with the office to never contact me again, I have selected STOP within the text message to be removed from the list. However each month they run a special I receive a new text message from ***** ********. I placed a call today yo the corporate location, spoke with Liz and advised her to which she simply said ok and ended the call after saying have a nice day. She did not take my name nor number to process. I also advised my phone number is listed on the National DNC list, not have I contacted the gym within the past 90 days which therefore puts them in violation of the DNC/Telemarketing laws. I did advise I must be taken off the list or I will take further action.

    Good Morning,

     

    I am writing in response to the filed complaint from September as I am still receiving messages from this business. I have blocked them and I am receiving messages from alternative numbers. I have not contacted them in years, and I am listed on the national do not call registry. This is violation of the telemarketing acts. I have not contacted them, and have requested they not contact me, and filed complaints with BBB however they still contact me. I have attached screenshots of them contacting me on 10/18 and 11/16. 

     

    I want this resolved already!! Please contact me asap regarding this matter.

    I am rejecting this response because: this has been ongoing for years. I call and ask to be removed, escalate this to BBB, management states they removed me but never do. BBB recommended I take further action and file with the ** Consumer Protection Bureau.
