    Good Morning,

    I am Terri W*****, the Property Manager for **** ***** ********** in *********** **..

I attempted to contact Ms. **** on April 8, 2024 @ 11:40AM.  I was unable to speak with Ms. Hill, however, I did leave her a voice mail.

About 30-45 minutes later, Ms. **** did return my call.  We discussed the incident that occurred at her apartment.  I requested a copy of the Police report, she responded she did not one yet.  I offered to check with the Police department, as well as our Courtesy Officer to try to obtain a copy of the report.  I also offered to email her a copy of the police report as soon as I receive it.

She wants to move out of her apartment without any penalty. I advised the lease is a binding contract and I do not have the authority to make the decision.  I offered to discuss her situation with my supervisor and I would contact her again on Tuesday to give her an update.

I appreciate your time and attention concerning this matter.  If you need any additional information, feel free to contact me.

    Thank you,

    Terri W*****

07/2022 I spent about $4,500 with ******* ** ******* (Harvest Properties) This company filed an eviction against me when I was not evicted. I broke my lease due to safety concerns. I notified the leasing office 30 days before my move out date and still paid my rent for that month. I was never served with an eviction notice or a notice to vacate the property. I contacted this property today, after not hearing back from the office manager and I was told there was nothing they could do to help me and I needed to do what I had to do. A person by the name of Michelle refused to give me her information and rudely hung up on me after I felt as if I was begging for assistance in this matter. I paid fees that amounted to almost $2,000 for breaking the lease and to have the filing corrected from eviction to broken lease but they have yet to make this correction 5 months later.

    Hello,

My name is Lucy and I currently work at the ******* ** ******* leasing office. I was able to retrieve your move out file. Upon reviewing it, I was not able to find any documentation in regards to you being let out of the lease. The only thing I found on your move out file was a couple of Notices to Vacate. On those notes you inform us that you plan on moving out on February 18 , 2017. Unfortunately, those notices do not verify that you were let out of the lease. After providing us with a notice to vacate you are still responsible for physically dropping off the apartment keys to our office. Do you have any documentation in regards to the safety concerns that lead you to break the lease? Or any documentation from the past ******* ** ******* office staff showing that we agreed to let you out of the lease?

    Thank you,

    Lucy R

    Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because:
A notice to vacate is not an eviction. I vacated my apartment due to drug activity taking place on the premises and no one taking action to correct the issue. Tenants sat outside with drugs and guns every night. I made the office aware of this and stated that I would be vacating since the issue couldn’t be resolved.

You just stayed that the only thing you found in my file was notices to vacate. I couldn’t be served with an eviction because I not only paid for that month, but I vacated the property. I am still waiting for the eviction to be removed from my records wit* ********** ****** ** ******* ** since I was never evicted.
    Sincerely,

    ******* *********
